Trouble Gaining Base Girth

Hi Brendan,

Good luck on your quest to find the base girth you desire. Out of curiosity, where are your current MSEG and base girth? In my experience pumping seemed to increase mine more than any other exercise. But I’ve never tried to gain base girth since I’m cone shaped already.

I believe that simple straight out and straight down stretches, combined with a modest jelqing routine can increase base girth.

I attribute some of my base girth gains of about a half inch exactly to that.

Let me explain.

My routine has consisted of only manuals for nearly three years, specifically various stretches, jelqs, and squeezes. I’ve always warmed up for a couple of minutes with heat, done my stretching while flaccid, and then done my jelqing routine. I like to jelq at an erection level of about 30 to 40 per cent.

After I’m done jelqing, I do straight out and straight down stretches while still partially engorged, 25 to 30 per cent say. I’m not completely flaccid but still somewhat puffy from my jelqing.

When I start with the straight out stretching at this point in my routine I can actually see my base girth expanding as I’m doing the stretches. It’s pretty obvious to me what is happening. I don’t notice this type of expansion of my base girth when I do my flaccid stretching.

I believe this expansion as I’ve described has contributed at least somewhat to my base girth. And it’s consistent with what I’ve read here from some members who’ve gotten base girth gains from hanging and using an extender.

To the OP, this technique may be worth a try.

My base girth is 5 inches, whereas my shaft girth is 5.5 inches.

When I jelq my upper shaft gets expanded but nothing happens to my base girth. I have tried straight out and straight down stretches and the result was that my base girth appeared to get smaller after doing the stretches.

When I started clamping my basegirth got out of control and my cone dick got more tapered. So I had the opposite problem.
I successfully even it out with dry jelqs and bends on the upper shaft. Still a cone, but thats ok.

Try clamping 1-2inch with your hand above the base at max 50% erection, maybe bend around a bit. Are you getting an expansion at the base?

I get no significant base girth expansion. I have been thinking about incorporating mid shaft clamping into my routine. By clamping off the middle of the penis, you trap all the blood coming into it at the base. I believe that this could be an effective exercise for increasing my base girth.

Somehow strange, because of my fast basegirth gains I always thought that you gain faster directly at the clamp.

But it seems it doesn’t work like that for everyone.

Have you considered hanging? Perhaps you’ve got some thicker meat tucked inside and pulling it out would allow you to isolate the less girthy area better…

How about reverse jelquing from the midshaft down? Just an idea, though I’ve never felt compelled to try this.

Update

I come to realize that I was not measuring my girth correctly. I was measuring too tight on the base girth and measuring too loose on the shaft girth. So my girth is actually 5.5 at the base and 5 at mid shaft and upper glans. I also realized that the middle of my shaft is wider than my base, but my base is thicker so it gives the illusion of a baseball bat shaped penis.

After learning about my true measurements I have decided to reevaluate my goals. My new goals are to have a wide baseball bat shaped penis with a huge penis head. I have started to do ULIS and hard gripped jelqs in order to target my head girth. As for the width of my penis, I have done jelqs with the pressure focused on the sides of the shaft.

Another thing that I have done was I created a penis pump out of a thick plastic water bottle and a brake bleeder pump. I like using the pump and I find that my base girth grows extremely fast in the pump and is able to pack the tube. The cylinder is about 6 inches in girth. What I have come to find out while pumping is that since my base girth packs the cylinder quickly, it creates a cocking effect on my penis. I don’t know if this is normal but I am careful and make sure that my sets do not go beyond 10 minutes. I like my results from pumping and I see that it will be a valuable asset for my future gains.

One problem I have is that I want to do clamping exercises but I don’t want to watch porn to get myself erect for the clamping exercises. So I thought that I would be able to pump my penis first, to obtain an erection, then throw on a clamp and do the exercises. But the problem I am having is that I don’t have enough blood in my penis after I pump to successfully be able to clamp. I enter the pump flaccid and I get great expansion in the pump, but as soon as I exit the pump I don’t have that much blood in my penis in order to clamp. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I have tried hanging and have had no luck gaining base girth. I don’t see how hanging could possibly increase base girth. Pulling out the inner penis doesn’t make any sense to me. The only reason that I could see base girth gains happening from hanging could be due to the hypertrophy of the ligs at the base of the penis.

As for reverse jelqing, I have had some good expansion at the base but the movement is quite awkward to do while dry.

Clamping does expand my base girth as well. When I first started, I thought that it was not doing anything for my base girth because I would only look at my penis from the top and there would be better expansion at the midshaft but not at the base.

It wasn’t until I started measuring my base girth while clamped that I realized I was getting good expansion, but the expansion was happening at the underside of my penis and not at the top of it like what was happening at my midshaft.

I have found that if I don’t enter the pump hard I make no gains. I wasted a long time because I didn’t want to use porn to get hard but when I stalled I realized why. I use porn for a minute, slap on a cockring and get it really hard and engorged and lubed then I slip it off and into the tube I go. My cock WAS uniform. Now it’s 5.4 mid shaft and 6.3 base!

I haven’t tried entering the tube hard so I don’t know what the difference in expansion is for me yet, but I am happy with the expansion I get when I enter the tube flaccid.

I am wondering if I even need to have a full erection when I am doing my clamping exercises. I had no gains from clamped edging and that requires a 100% erection while clamped. Whereas other clamped exercises, you can be at 70-80% erection and get a better stretch. I am going to try clamped jelqs and ULIS at 70-80% erection level and report back my results.

I get better expansion from about 70% erect semi tight clamping also with hot towels wrapped around. Heat makes a big clamped difference. Be careful with clamped jelqs. I can’t do them without pain and sensitivity loss.
