Uneven jelq Overhand/Underhand

I am doing the newbie routine and I have a quick question.

I like to do over hand ok jelq 80% of the time and only under hand 20%. Is that a bad idea? My penis is shaped upwards a bit. I am trying to even it out.

I’ve been under the impression that overhand works girth better and underhand works length better. By upwards do you mean it is curved upwards? If so I’ve heard that having a curved penis can actually be more pleasurable to women than a straight one, because it allows you to hit the upper areas of the vagina easier, including her g-spot and other sensitive areas.

Can I ask where you got this information? I’d like to read the theory behind it.

When I jelq , I always go overhand with the right hand, and under hand with the left. The reason I started doing this originally was because my penis is bent slightly to the left. While masturbating one day it occurred to me that my grip was pulling in on my penis mid-shaft. By reversing my grip with my right hand, the force is being applied the opposite way. While this really hasn’t helped straighten my penis, I get a nice plump while jelqing. It also seems to cut down on skin irritation. For me anyway!

I mostly do overhand, but change it up with a few underhand here and there.

It’s a lot harder to get close to the base with the underhand in my opinion.

So if I just do overhand, my penis will not look funny after 6+ months?

I personally believe the decision should rest more on your hand strength and comfort. Overhand grips can be a little harder on the rotator cuffs in my experience, but I tend to prefer them as an underhanded grip makes it far too easy for me to leverage too much hand strength, leading to bruising and such.
