Neither does he have the right to expect anyone to believe his claims. If he asks why they do not believe his unsubstantiated claims, “because you won’t post measurement pics” is a perfectly acceptable response. Rudeness is not acceptable. There is nothing rude in asking for measurement pics, or stating that you do not believe unsubstantiated claims, unless asked or stated in a rude manner.

You are correct. Perhaps it could be added to the forum guidelines that no size can be claimed for pictures without a ruler, but the FG’s are compulsory reading for Newbies and to keep making them longer, more complex and harder to remember would be counterproductive.

So we all have to use common sense: either post clear ruler pics, or don’t complain if people (politely) call you on your size claims. If you can take a picture but not hold a ruler at the same time, don’t claim a size.

Maybe you are thinking of RWG (RegularWhiteGuy)? He has a tape measure pic of his girth. Don’t know if there was any discussion about it though, that was before my time.

Thunder’s is a quasi-scientifical place. We deal exclusively with empirical data, so proof is crutial for everybody here. It’s not personal, it’s just that if you want to create precedents or steepen the curve then you need to back it up accordingly.

As far as photoshopping, to each his own, I don’t care about any penis except my own.

I wish I had photos of before P.E. I did take some during and they will go up once I have final photos. As for ruler pics I had trouble keeping an erection, lifting my downward pointing penis, holding a ruler, and taking a picture. I compensated by taking pictures with easy to hold, common household objects. You could buy one of those cheap plastic digital cameras and upload directly to a computer a picture with a ruler or phallic shaped object. Hehe Phallic.

The fact is that it is quite common for bogus size claims to be made, and most of these claims are supported by dodgy pics. If you do better than me in gains, I am going to look carefully at what you have done so that I might learn. But if your claims are illegitimate I am wasting my time trying to learn from you.

No that’s not right. It is ruler pics that prove size and it is a ruler pic that we have suggested to you will remove the doubts we have over your claims.

Ditto what I said in the first quote. If you have genuinely added size quickly, we want to know that it is true so we can try what you did. I don’t want your dick, I just want my dick to keep growing.

I look to all the ‘growers’ on this site as mentors and almost as role-models (at least in the area of PE). Guys like Dino, Big Girtha and Memento do not openly brag about themselves, they generally recognize the benefits they have been rewarded by giving advice and assisting other members and by legitimately adding to the knowledge base of the Thunders family.

There’s a lot to be said for ‘going quietly and carrying a big stick’.

I think this point should be clarified. And regulations in the Forum Guidelines should be made if the forum administration strongly feels that way.

Klayton’s post in the previous page is a fine example of what I’m trying to say. He doesn’t have the right to say that now, does he?

My idea here is what I’ve mentioned in the last paragraph of my previous post: to construct a more positve forum. I think it would be better that way.

Take it this way: one must “believe in” PE, for it to actually work, right? If no one ever believed in PE, everyone would be overly skeptical, and no one would do PE.

Aren’t all the mighty scientists saying PE is BS? :D

This is a good thread, because tea_lord’s first post actually makes a lot of sense: too much doubt and negativity kills PE progress. The “non believers” should think about that :)

My reply was partly inspired by thinking you wouldn’t get the Koolaid reference; I didn’t get it when Thunder first used it with me. I Googled it.

I think we have a very positive forum here. I wouldn’t really want to see it weighed down by lots more ‘rules’. It’s best if people just use common sense.

Some topics will cause a few guys to get a bit heated and this probably adds rather than detracts from the forum as long as they can resist being offensive. Sometimes frustration with an akward poster makes people say things a bit bluntly; if they are just saying what most other people are thinking, I leave them alone.

This place gets like a soap opera at times but that’s part of why people keep coming back, so it’s not a bad thing. :)

This whole discussion probably isn’t going to change anything. We are not going to add “rules” about size claims or photos to the Forum Guidelines. The members here do a pretty good job at policing, although some of us do get a little nasty at times, usually when provoked by bullshit.

He made similar claims, no proof, obviously just trying to show off. I don’t see any point about lying about your size, and I don’t see how hard it is to post better pics. Tae_lord has been a little bit lower key than some of the huge claimers around here but it still appears to be the same to me.
