What to do differently?

What would you have done differently when you first started PE?

If you include how long you have been doing PE it may make the answers more interesting.


Sept. 4, '07: BPEL 6.875 inches, EG widest 5.25

Goal: Double digits

Coming up on 2 years now, I have a lot I would change.

First, I would have started right and always included a warmup.

I would have completely passed on any length exercises, as I never really needed it compared to girth, waste of my time.

I wouldn’t have gone so crazy into it, jelqing as much as I possibly could - less is definitely more in PE.

To reiterate, I would have taken it slow, set small goals, focused completely on girth.

Not tell my ex…

I wish I’d known to warm up too!

And I could’ve avoided getting a thrombosis several few times by taking a good preventitive like Gingko and Omega 3.

That and not starting it when I heard about PE the first time.

Seems like over doing it is a common problem, it was for me.

Having a good warm up too.

I wish I would have found Thunders right away. Wasted a month on a pay site which didn’t really stress the don’t over do it part.

I regret not putting enough effort into PE. I should have worked harder. When I say hard work, I’m mainly talking about time and frequency. I overlooked plain hard work and was seeking a magic routine that would produce fast gains without much effort. My training was inconsistent and sporadic at best. I kinda knew I was lacking in effort but I was basically lazy, I was looking and hoping I’d find a magic pill. I had an overconfidence in deconditioning breaks, I took quite a few of those, but it never really helped me. Bottom line, if your not working hard enough no deconditioning break in the world will help. The curse of dainty PE :)

I started my journey back in 2004, around this time of the year. So about 3 years ago.

Needless to say, I never found that magic routine. I’ve come to believe there is no magic routine, no shortcuts. You get out what you put in, I wish I knew that when I started, I think it would have saved me a lot of time.

Guys this is an incredible thread. Thanks to all and keep it coming. I’m 3 weeks into PE and learning a lot but you guys just solidified several tips. Do warm up. Don’t overdo it. Be consistent and take pics.

I wish I would have taken it slower in the beginning and I wish I had been more organised and more consistent with my routine.

I should have increased my routine gradually and not sick to a routine for months (this was a big mistake) because of being afraid of injuries.
