Why is average too small?

Surveys clearly show that the “average” penis length is around 6”. However, men and many women seem to think that 8” is a more perfect size.

Here’s my question. Why haven’t we evolved to be perfect? Why the discrepancy between “perfect” and “average?”

1. Possibly man’s comparatively short evolutionary timeframe? Much of this one depends on who is to be believed as far as the age of man is concerned.

2. I’m not sure things aren’t perfect, just not perfect all the time. Example: when my wife and I got married, I was 6.5x5.25. It was very difficult to start intercourse, as she was tight. Real tight. Like even with lube kinda tight. Four kids later, I’m doing medevil toture to my unit to make it bigger in hopes of hitting all her spots. You tell me what’s changed.

one of the hallmarks of evolution is the idea of survival of the fittest. If the average dick was ‘perfect’, then the ‘fittest’ men would also be average, and this is clearly counter to any evolutionary progress.

It’s a principle of relativity. If 4” was average, then women would be physically and psychologically acclimated to that and 6” or so would be “perfect” and 8” would probably be too much for many women. Likewise, if 8” was average, 10” or so would be ideal …

All things change. The sooner you accept that the better. There is no such thing as perfect.

Women always want more. The average man’s height is 5’10” in the US (Europeans and Asians are both getting taller, but Americans are actually shrinking due to our atrocious eating habits), but many women seem to find 6’1”-6’4” to be the “ideal.” Oddly enough, we guys seem to prefer averages in women when it comes to height.

The evolution of penis size has to do with procreation and the ability to put sperm at the cervix. People’s opinions are just that, their opinion. Apparently, according to nature, five to six inches is the perfect size.

Why is the “average intelligence” quite dumb? Or “average looks” quite unattractive? In Nature, there really is no “equality” - that’s purely a socio-political term.

Remember, there was a guy scientifically measured at something like 13.3” (presumably NBP). What the hell is the reason for that?? And there are guys with micro-penis (1” or less).

Just one of the many mysteries of Life.

Here are some of my idle speculations on the subject:

Average dicked guys are like the worker bees in society. The world needs a steady supply of modest guys who are well behaved and easily embarrassed.

Or, guys with small dicks feel grateful that any women would have them, so they tend to stick around their hard-won women and actually become useful in providing for the well being of their kids.

Or, my favorite, guys with large dicks would tend to lose them to frostbite during an ice age.

An 8x6 penis is, for most females, not desirable for quick sex without a lot of foreplay and/or extra lube — and this is the kind of sex that likely dominated the reproductive lives of our ancestors.
