Wim Hof, Oxygen Super Saturation And The Penis

Anybody familiar with Wim Hof and his breathing technique? This man has been proven to do amazing things under laboratory conditions. He is able to excercise control over his circulatory system, nervous system, immune system and autonomic system.

Some insane work records:

Longest under ice swim
Longest time packed in ice (80 min lost 1/2 degree body temp)

I took his course and am pretty well practiced in the breath technique though like meditation I fall off the wagon sometimes.

Basically the method prescribes multiple sets of controlled hyperventilation. 3-5 sets of 30 breaths. Followed by excercise that are somewhere between stretching and meditating. I have experienced some pretty trippy altered states of consciousness while doing this.

Basically what happens is the breaths supersaturate your blood with oxygen, then you hold your empty lungs until your muscles eat up the oxygen. I have watched on an O2 monitor my O2 go from 100%+ down to 40% and spring back up. I think it shocks a system into action that makes you feel totally fucking awesome.

I’m toying with the idea of adding some Wim Breaths before and after my PE sessions next PE cycles. Maybe having more oxygen ated blood will spur on growth?? Or speed recovery???

I’m actually of the opposite mind. Most of those exercises and the things you describe (and the monks/other religious organizations that have done similar) focus on keeping the body at an optimum state and being unaffected by the physical laws of reality.

What you describe likens me to the martial artists who can’t be cut with knives, burned or physically harmed through force of will. Which, would ultimately not spur growth since we utilize primarily body changes to make this happen.

Though, maybe you could make your cock bullet proof…*chuckles*

Then: 6.25" x 4.37" in 8/2009 Are you new to PE? Here's some advice I wish someone had given me when I first started.

My Extender and forward to 10" and balls enhancement project. There is no "Holy Grail" of Penis Enlargement. Only time and effort works. I'm *10* years in and counting. All you have to do is put the work in and keep the faith.

Yes. He keeps the body at a static optimum. Our methods requires some level of injury to occur. Which is technically not optimum, like all of his techniques create.

Wim Hof is pretty amazing. Incorporating his breathing methods into a workout is an interesting thought, I think it’s definitely worth a try. But I also feel like when you do this type of breathing the oxygenated blood will be mostly going to your brain because in a way you are starving the body of oxygen first in order to oxygenate it (I get kind of lightheaded and tingly in the hands when doing the breathing methods). So they blood may take awhile to try to your unit but everything I said is psuedoscience, nothing really factual. It’s worth a shot man. Good luck!

Well I know that the O2 is at least saturated in my finger…that’s where the sensor is clipped (you can buy these for 20 bucks). It is probably saturated in my dick as well. I can clip the sensor to my dick to check O2 blood levels easily…will report back on this.

The questions are:

1. Does super saturating blood and tissues have any positive effect on growth or recovery?

2. Does the O2 saturation and deprivation cycles activate some cellular machinery that can be of benefit to growth or recovery?

From what I underatand, my intuition says…maybe.

The WHM literally saved my life. I have such a strong immune system now, and I am not kidding. I was near to depression because of how often I got sick.

The only downside for me is that my penis reacts very sensitive to cold and even to the breathing technic, it shrinked to a point where almost only the foreskin and the glans were sticking out my body.

That is the reason I got back to PE. I bought a new Bathmate and put it on with very warm water when I get into the breathing part and then (still having it on) do the cold shower.

I was more than surprised that the effect of the bathmate would hold much longer for me, having my penis nice bathed and pumped in the warm, and then giving the rest of the body the crisis of ice cold water.

I will watch this more closely and maybe do a thread just about that routine.

I don’t know man he talks about changing the pH of our blood when doing the technique so it couldn’t be static, not that I know much about the science behind it all I know is it seems to work I’ve tried it myself.

This study investigates correlation between hyperventilation follows by breath holding (experiment 3) what kind of is the Wim Hof method and hormonal response. And it seems to have significant impact on HGH levels.

Right now I try to implement this into my Cool down. Taking a full body cold shower while doing three to four cycles of Wim Hof breathing. Will report results.

Interesting, I’ll check these breathing methods out. I have to say, I’ve never thought of putting an O2 sensor on my dick despite using them on other people almost daily, the idea makes me laugh but I’m also curious to see if it would even work.

Very nice to see a discussion regarding Tim Hoff here, I recently came across his Podcast with Joe Rogan while looking at breathing practices to enhance my meditation sessions. I have been playing around with his method and also have been doing Holotropic breathing now for a week in conjunction with existing meditative practise.

Not sure if it’s had any impact on my penis but my cardiovascular and mental health has seen some improvements. Stress and poor cardiovascular function lead to a decrease in EQ so this is the only logical way I can relate this to PE.
