Is it recommended.

I am new to the whole extending routine and bought a cheap extender from eBay. It did not come with instructions so I have been reading and learning from articles in this site and others.
What I have to do is gradually build up the length while I wear my extender. It can take up to 30 minutes before I have what I would consider a good stretch. I had more skin stretching than anything else. It has been about three weeks. I believe that the skin stretch is almost gone. I only have about 60 hours in so far with extending.
I do not know how people can buy an extender and use it close to their BPFSL. I am circumcised but I never had a huge turkey neck and if I did I could understand the skin stretching. In my experience flaccid gains have to come first just to be able to extend to the BPFSL.
I’ve also learned that when I hang my flaccid increases before BPEL. This is not uncommon. Anyhow, most if the time our penises are flaccid and once it adapts to the new flaccid length BPEL should be the next step. I remember that from when I was a 15 year old boy.
My point is that I do not see how someone could not gain flaccid length when using an extender. If someone stretches enough and keeps the appropriate tension and length while using the extender eventually their BPFSL will increase along with BPEL.
