Are rod style devices more effective ?

Are rod style devices more effective ?

From what I see there is rod type and belt type extender for most of the companies.

The belt type looks way more comfortable you can wear it while going to job and even sleep with some of them [Phallosan Forte/PeniMaster Pro Belt/TotalMan ADS etc…].

So I wonder why most of the forum are using the rod type.

Is it more effective then the belt ?

Hey random,

I have l both.

Much more comfy! Please never sleep in one.

You’re less likely to wear something uncomfortable… So I think rod style is less effective. But I was living with a “no pain, no gain” mantra until I tried the auto extender vac.

Start (8/30/21): 6.5"BPEL X 5.25" MSEG

Now (12/5/22): 8.75" BPEL X 5.75" MSEG

Goal 9.5"BPEL X 7" MSEG My Journey

I think it’s easier to track where you were the other day and apply the same (or a bit more) pressure with the rod .

I agree with etzioauditor that tracking the amount of tension being applied is much easier with the rod atyle. I also agree with the above that the no pain no gain is part of my mantra as well even tho this isn’t entirely uncomfortable (leluv slide rod style) I have a silistretcher that broke and it was replaced but need to get more caps for my glans to try it again. I find the thought of blisters extremely undesirable and seems to be inevitable when using a vac style device. I’ve read that no matter what you do (baby powder tape ect) that you will almost certainly get them at some point. I wish I could modify or find a device I could where all day without issues but you’re going to have to pee throughout the day so you have to take the devices off to so that. I would also love to find a device I would sleep in but I tried that with baby powder and glans cap with the silistretcher and I still get some fluid retention after about 4 hours of sleep. Which scared the hell out of me bc it looked super weird.

Started 2/25/19 5.75” BPEL 4.75” EG

Current: 6” BPEL 4.75”EG

Goal: 7.5” BPEL and 5.5”EG

I’m not liking the slider extender so far. The head eventually slips out for me and I don’t at all see how it’s easier to track the tension being applied with this rod style, where you have to constantly adjust the metal bits to get it in place.

The phallosan (vac) style extender has a direct pressure gauge that lets you immediately see the force being exerted, right? And it seems like a much better usage of force, applying it evenly instead of just at the points where a noose is trying to pull at the head of your dick.

I’m also having many slippage problems with the slider and I tried both the string and the strip. Also my glans become cold bluish and numbs after a while so I have to take a break every 1 hour at average.

I have a PM pro and have nothing to compare it too! But the vacuum head is just so comfortable, I couldn’t imagine using a noose style extender after reading about so many people’s experience with them. The rods are awesome too as they accommodate your growth and allows you to be very accurate in the tension you’re applying consistently! They’re not perfect though, I’ve gotten the odd blister but that was probably from over doing it!

I found a better covering today that is allowing my dick to be held in place properly by the LeLuv. I bought a Stealth innerwear awhile ago, which is itself fairly worthless IMO, but it comes with a couple other coverings that have ironically turned out to be much more useful. It has a long, thin spandex covering that I was wearing regularly for a bit of warmth and anti-turtling property, and a shorter, thicker spandex covering that I previously didn’t find use for, but now has found a place. The thinner spandex covering didn’t seem to keep my head in place well enough when used with the LeLuv, but the thicker one is doing the trick.

I’m still not sure if I want to keep using this extender type tho, the vac version seems better.

Don’t suppose you’ve shared your experience with Stealth here? Might save a couple guys the trouble.

I tend to agree that the Stealth system standing alone may not do much. But, I find that putting at least those inner spandex sleeves on post workout helps with maintaining an elongated state for as long as kept on. It seems in keeping with, for example, Kyrpa’s advice that tension be maintained in any cool down phase. I suspect that at least helps in flaccid hang over the long term. Not to mention quite the visible bulge/outline in your pants!

I definitely wouldn’t say they let you maintain an elongated state on their own. They just help to prevent the absolute worst flaccid state possible.

The main advertised product, the cotton sleeve with silicone ring on top, doesn’t really do anything. I tried two sizes (the second one was sent for free), and basically it won’t keep you in a good flaccid state because it doesn’t have an elastic quality, you will just shrink back into the sleeve, the head of your dick especially has nothing stopping it here. I tried a tapered version that gets skinnier towards the head to get a tighter fit there, but that still doesn’t work and it also then becomes more difficult to put on and painful with an erection.

For an item like this to work, it should be like a cross between a hair scrunchy and a chinese finger trap. Or another way of putting it - something like a light cock ring that covers the entire length of your dick. It needs to expand so you can get it on, and have a boner while wearing it, but keep your flaccid dick firmly in place at its maximum length (without extra stretching, basically whatever your maximum flaccid state is that’s still safe to pee with). Someone get to work with engineering that device!

I guess there are silicone sleeves that are trying to allow for full flaccids already, like this - Autoextender Penis Enlargement Device - but I’m not sure if those are totally effective either. It seems like they would be quite difficult to put on and take off, if they do work?

Have used both.

The rod type definitely allows for stronger pull, but both work.

The belt type is more comfortable and concealed. I think of it as more of an ADS device.

I use the rod style with the saber skin from stealth also. What I like to do is pump for 7 min before strapping so I get a good head swell. I get no slippage and it’s really comfortable.

I’ve got one of each; both budget brands.

The rod style allows for MUCH stronger traction.
Overall, the belt type is a little bit more comfortable, but I can only tolerate either of them for about 90 minutes max. My belt is a vacuum head, so it does have the added advantage of being used for hanging too.

I use the belt as more of an ADS to supplement my main traction, which is done with the rod style.

If I could have just one, it’d still be the rod.
