Not to mention quite the visible bulge/outline in your pants!
I definitely wouldn’t say they let you maintain an elongated state on their own. They just help to prevent the absolute worst flaccid state possible.

The main advertised product, the cotton sleeve with silicone ring on top, doesn’t really do anything. I tried two sizes (the second one was sent for free), and basically it won’t keep you in a good flaccid state because it doesn’t have an elastic quality, you will just shrink back into the sleeve, the head of your dick especially has nothing stopping it here. I tried a tapered version that gets skinnier towards the head to get a tighter fit there, but that still doesn’t work and it also then becomes more difficult to put on and painful with an erection.
For an item like this to work, it should be like a cross between a hair scrunchy and a chinese finger trap. Or another way of putting it - something like a light cock ring that covers the entire length of your dick. It needs to expand so you can get it on, and have a boner while wearing it, but keep your flaccid dick firmly in place at its maximum length (without extra stretching, basically whatever your maximum flaccid state is that’s still safe to pee with). Someone get to work with engineering that device!
I guess there are silicone sleeves that are trying to allow for full flaccids already, like this - Autoextender Penis Enlargement Device - but I’m not sure if those are totally effective either. It seems like they would be quite difficult to put on and take off, if they do work?
