DIY ADS belt (Phallosan Forte style)

Hey, gents,

After AndyJ said he preferred his DIY ADS belt to a leg strap I decided to do a little eBay scrounging and came up with these elements that made putting one together take about 30 seconds once the components arrived.

I got a 70mm pessary ring that is made of firm but soft silicone for the ring, a "buckle-free elastic invisible waist belt for jeans" for the belt and some "swivel clip snap hooks" for the vacuum cap attachment. The total cost (which included 25 clips, the minimum order) was about $35. For some reason the pessary ring was almost 20 bucks, but I picked a US supplier rather than overseas for quicker delivery, so there are probably cheaper options.

I thought the silicone ring might be more comfortable than a metal ring, so I went with that. The ‘buckle-free’ belt is interesting. It has loops with snaps on each end that are supposed to go around the belt loops of your pants, rather than a central buckle, which is perfect for attaching the ring and the clip on each end. The elastic belt length is adjustable.

I had to use a little duct tape to secure the loop around the pessary ring, as the thickness of the ring made snapping it closed challenging and likely not very secure.

I’m going to give it a try later tonight as an ADS after my hanging session and I’ll report back on how it goes.

It’s an adjustable elastic belt. Just doesn’t have a buckle but the loops at the end.

Been wearing it about an hour and so far so good. Good level of tension, comfortable sitting, standing and walking and as stealth as it gets.

Hey bros, I’ve been thinking about doing an extender diy too, in the style of this belt around the waist. What I’m trying to clarify is the point of the base ring. It seems to induce a fulcrum stretch but is having the fulcrum stretch for that much extended hour a good idea? Or do you switch it every so often on each side? And what’s the disadvantage if there’s no base ring? I’ve read some reviews on phallosan forte how some guys couldn’t get over the discomfort of the ring so I wasn’t sure if it’s something I want to mess with. Thanks

Unlike a leg strap or shoulder strap, you have to have a ring to use a belt style, otherwise there is nothing to pull against.

I put pretty high tension on mine. I can’t quantify it without using some kind of scale that I wouldn’t know how to incorporate, but based on feel it is at least 4 pounds, maybe a bit more. Hell, maybe a lot more. I can wear it about an hour at my preferred tension and then have to take a break of a few minutes. And then I do switch sides.

I have been wearing it more recently and usually do so after a hanging session, sometimes before and sometimes both. Also nice to have when I can’t spend an hour at my desk hanging since it is easy to run around doing chores with, walking on the treadmill or even leaving the house with it on.

It’s so inexpensive to make something like this that if you have a vacuum attachment setup then I don’t see a reason not to play around with it.

One thing to know is the only time I’ve gotten glans blisters is from this setup since the tension is relatively hight and the use is relatively long. My tape job would start to get moist and slip and then I’d get the blisters. Since using the water method I’ve never had an issue, even under relatively high tension for 3-4 hours.

I blister easy, and I’ve had poor luck with elastic ADS rigs. Maybe the bands I’ve used weren’t elastic enough.

Since I had to start out with very low tension, I used a 9oz Gear Keeper to start with, then moved up to a 12oz. Now that I can take more weight when vacuum hanging, there’s a 24oz Gear Keeper I’ve been looking at. They run about thirty bucks, but they’re essentially constant-tension reels with more than two feet of travel. No matter what position I get in, it won’t cause vacuum spikes.

24oz is only a pound and a half, not much for most guys, but I think they top out there. Their web site lists by application, not strength of pull.

Here’s the result of my thirsty shenanigan. I rescued the vacuum extender I already have, used the water trick but I still having pressure loss from the old sleeve so I remedy by adding a clamp to seal my shaft in. It’s not tight clamp, just one click. I also used shoulder strap for belt, looped into a foam block and tada! My very own diy phallosan. I tied around my hips to make it tighter. And when I sit down it actually is even tighter. The only issue now is when I pee, how much time to put it back together. For sure I won’t be able to use the urinal. And yeah, it looks like I’m packing, due to the cup, but I’m not in the office so this will do during winter.

Great job! The foam block is a great idea. Also ingenious to keep the sleeve going with a supportive clamp. Clever!

Well it’s comfortable but theres the nagging burn where the shaft is on bend. Nothing I haven’t felt before, I had same feeling during hanging. I think I should put shea butter and that should ease that burn. It’s very comfortable on the glans and also on the clamp so I think the water trick is doing well for me too. Just too bad sleeves dont last long and I don’t want to keep buying or even making diy sleeves…maybe if it rips or i come to that point, I’ll look for ideas. Ive been wearing it for almost 4 hours now. I switch sides only once and had it bent on left and now it’s on right side. This is probably the longest I have ADS on. I want to do the tension rods but unless I’m wearing saggy cargo pants, it’s just not practical to have it on seams or even to walk with it if I put the rods on one side. I can have this same phallosan design and strap it down to my ankles or my thighs. I used to have it around my neck but again not practical having half my dick up my pants even under my shirt. If only I work from home all week…

Look on eBay for stainless steel or plastic rings. The one I’m using now is 10mm, which was much more comfortable where my dick bends around it. I forget the diameter, but I got the ID big enough to fit over the bell, since I found it easier to put the bell and sleeve on first.

I pull to the left one day, to the right the next instead of switching sides during the day.

I tried looking one yesterday but no luck, maybe I was too specific. Can you link in here which one as a starting point?

I just did a search on "stainless steel ring 60mm" and sorted through what popped up.

Great, I was in the right direction then, I just wasn’t sure if I was looking for a craft item or a tool and how thick I’d go about. I looked at pessary the one TenD used but that part is expensive, how did he manage to get hold of that?
