has anyone had results using only extender?

DJ - thanks! I gained 1-1/2” the first year and then hit a plateau. For almost 8 months! It wasn’t until I changed things up and started using my extender to focus on stretching my suspensort ligament that I started making gains again.

Maxwind - I have only used an extender, I have NOT done any other type of PE.

Figaro2011 - I didn’t think about taking a picture before I started extending. The first picture I took wasn’t until I had already gained 1/2” (1.3cm). I have ED, so it’s almost impossible to maintain an erection while jamming a ruler against my fat pad while trying to take a picture. Maybe if I had a third hand it would be easier! LOL. I was 51 years old when I started extending.

Preppyguy81 - I consider myself very lucky to have made the gains I have in a relatively short period of time! For the first year I tried to wear it 4-5 hours per day, sometimes more, sometimes less. Now I am only wearing it 90 minutes a day, 5 days a week and I take off one week a month for an extended recovery period. I did replace the springs in my extender with MUCH stronger springs, so I am now extending with about 20lbs (10kg) of force.

Dafuuuk? 20kg of force?? Could you share your extender with us, please? That thing must be quite sturdy.

Have you noticed any improvment in your ED using extender?

A little. Besides my age, I believe my weight is also a factor with my ED, so I am excercising and working at losing some weight. I’ve lost 35lbs so far and I’d like to lose at least 35 more.

10kg of force…about 20 lbs.

I am using the Quick Externder Pro, but I have replaced the springs with MUCH stronger springs.

Out of interest which springs did you replace it with?

I’m using Quick Extender Pro as well at the moment and I must say I’ve also noticed the springs to be of very poor quality and I don’t think they are going to last much longer.

Ahh so it’s like 900 hours of hanging. Yes, that seems adequate gains for that amount of stress. I bet you didn’t go from zero to 10kg in a week though. Takes time to get used to that kind of pull. I’m hanging and for the last 4 months (16 weeks) have done next to 200 hours, and still feel like going over 5.5kg is way too much pull. But during that period I managed to grow around 1.3 to 1.5cm.

Compression Spring A2 Stainless Steel Wire Diameter 0.6mm Pressure Small Spring

Size: 0.6x6x25mm for 4000g (4kg) equivalent springs
Size: 0.8x6x25mm for MUCH stronger springs - about 10000g (10kg)

Hello CL, how can you tell what spring dimensions give a specific force? The springs that came with my extender have a maximum force of 1500g. I’m interested in upgrading to stronger springs but only to 1750g or 2000g at most (for now). How would I go about finding springs with those kinds of force for an extender?

I just bough a cheap set of compression springs and used a kitchen scale to measure how much force it takes to compress them.

Depending on where you but them from, they might even have the compression force in the specifications, or you could ask the manufacturer.

I really don’t know. I measured the springs that I got with my QEP (length, diameter of the coil and diameter of the wire) and then searched online for springs with the same dimensions.

I did almost exclusively extender for the first year and gained .75” length in that time.
Since then, I’ve gained about an additional .25” in the past 3.5 years.

Extenders work, as do the other techniques talked about on this and other forums. The first 10-15% gains over baseline are fairly easy to achieve and then continued gains can be made, but require greater time and effort.

Did you get any MEG gains as well using the extender? QEP quote that you get both length and girth gains but it appears most people only seem to quote length gains. I’m a couple of months into using my QEP now and am interested to see if I get any girth gains as well.

This helps thank you. Even for just replacing the existing springs if/when they go.

I’ve been extending for 7 months with a 1 inch BPEL gain, 1.5 BPFSL, 1.5 FL. I haven’t measured since December, so probably a little more. I started at 6 BPEL x 4.7 MEG. And am currently 7 X 5. I also jelq after my extending sessions for about 5-10 minutes. But I attribute most of my length gains to extending. I’m probably coming to the end of my “newbie gains” but my goal is 2” BPEL in 1 year. We’ll see how that works out.

I stretch for 3-6 hours per day. 2 Days on, 1 Day off. I approach stretching a little differently. I “listen to my penis”. If it starts retracting, I end my session. As long as it feels good to stretch, I keep stretching. This technique is working for me so far.

Would you attribute those 0.3” MEG gains from purely using the extender?

I am 1 month into full extender use and have seen an increase in my BPEL already (close to 0.2”) but no MEG gains yet. I am not really interested in MEG gains anyway, I would like to get up to 8” BPEL first. My starting stats are on par with yours and it looks like we have the same goal. What extender are you using by the way? I typically extend 3 to 4 hours a day. I’ve noticed now that I can do longer days but it’s better not to extend in more than 1 go for over 1 hour as that’s when I get issues (retracting, some pain/discomfort). I notice these issues around the 90 mins mark. I actually did 2 hours in 1 go yesterday and have had to have a few days rest as I feel my unit is still quite sore. Are you noticing the same things?
