I am 1 month into full extender use and have seen an increase in my BPEL already (close to 0.2”) but no MEG gains yet. I am not really interested in MEG gains anyway, I would like to get up to 8” BPEL first. My starting stats are on par with yours and it looks like we have the same goal. What extender are you using by the way? I typically extend 3 to 4 hours a day. During my first 6 months, I didn’t do much jelqing. So, I attribute most of my girth gains from extending. But the jelqing really helps with EQ. I get raging erections during the night now and my flaccid is improving. It’s 5.5 BPFL most of the time now.

I’m just using a generic extender off of eBay. I’m happy with it. I’ve broken two sleds, so I’ve bought three of these in 8 months. But at under $20 a pop, who cares. I needed the extra rods anyway.

I don’t extend over an hour. I’m worried about causing damage from lack of circulation etc. Once I start retracting too much, I take off for the day. Sometimes I get six hours, sometimes only 3, hour long sessions. For me, I think the healing time is more important. Longest I’ve ever made it was 90 minutes, then I have to take a day off just like you. I’ve had my best growth only stretching 3-4 days per week for about 4 hours a day around 1050g of force.

This is really interesting. I had never thought about changing the springs to achieve more tension. As far as the outer diameter goes what size springs fit standard extenders on the market (like the ones that Monkeybar sells)?

It sounds like the extender CL is using can take both a 6 mm and 8 mm outer diameter spring. Hmm. I guess I’m about to measure my springs when I take this extender off.

No, the outer diameter of the springs are 6mm. It’s the diameter of the wire that the spring is made from that is different.

So then can anyone tell me how to determine what size fits a standard extender? Presumably both fit? I have one that I bought from Monkeybar’s Autoextender website. They are the standard inexpensive ones. I think the model he sold me was KR or maybe Jes.

Makes sense. I will continue to make tweaks on my own path and like you said ‘listen to your body’ more. Some days I will reach my limit quicker than others so its important to stop in this situation.

Are you seeing any slowdown in gains from month to month or are you still gaining consistently? For example, if I continued to gain at 0.2” per approx 80 hours I did last month, I am going to reach my goal a lot quicker than expected!

Ironically, right after posting, I sustained a nerve injury from erect jelqing. I don’t normally jelq while erect. It just happened and I continued. Bad move. So, I’ve taken six weeks off and just started back. I start extending again next week. My injury has healed.

But, before that my gains were staying consistent at about 0.2” per month at least from a BPFSL perspective. I haven’t measure my BPEL since end of December. We shall see.

Congratulations. When you did this , did the extender have to be past bpel, or bpsfl?

Most of my gains came via an old JES Extender, no springs. I probably wore 3-4 hrs a day for 6 months or so almost every day. For me, not extending with too much force was key otherwise it was just too uncomfortable.

May I ask what the importance of spring use in an extender is? Is it just a means to control and track the force you are applying?

I have 3d printed myself an extender which just uses ~250mm of continuously threaded rod which I can just wind nuts up as I want to apply more tension and as I get longer (I hope).

I thought I should update my post from last year on this thread. I’m now over a year and a half into my extender-based routine. Important: I’m not extender only, but extender only for length. I’ve been water pumping for a little over 6 months now. I don’t pump for girth, but as a warmup for my extender. The hot water and vacuum preheats and pre-stretches my tissues. But I do get girth benefits regardless. I stretch at least a 1/4 inch farther with this pre-workout.

I am currently at 7.25BPEL and 5.25MEG with a 5.7BEG. So, I’m still seeing results but they have definitely slowed. I’ve gained 1.25" in length in 20 months. The best part is my flaccid has grown tremendously from the constant stretching. My full flaccid is 6x5BPFL. So, I think this is an important yet overlooked benefit of extending… If you like sporting a bulge. I will most likely try some hanging in the future, but extending will still be a major part of my routine as I push toward my final goal of 8BPEL.

Side note: I’ve cut way back on how long I wear the extender. I’m typically just 3 days a week now for about 3 hours. There are more important things in life than P.E..

My first 1/4 inch or so was from only an extender, but that was a very long time ago. I don’t remember the brand, but it was from 2003-2007.

Extenders are just another tool that works over very long timeframes.
