Homemade Extender the Darknight

This is my first post, (disclaimer: I don’t know anything about anything)

I am skeptical, as one should be, and have been reading and learning as much as I can about PE as possible since the new year.

For whatever reason, I have been most drawn to the idea and theory behind hanging, and extenders. Although I do not have the money for a commercial extender, I set out to design one on my own that might “get the job done”.

I researched a number of homemade devices and the most important thing I found that was lacking was a way to control the force being applied to the stretch. Most homemade devices are cheap and cheerful and seem to be just a turnbuckle or a threaded rod extending until the penis won’t stretch anymore. This seemed to me like an easy way to hurt myself especially if there was any loss in sensation during the stretching I might overextend and not feel it till later.

So I added a spring to my extending mechanism so that the force being exerted can be controlled (to some extent). For example: the turnbuckle is extended until the spring is 50% compressed which will equal about 3-4 pounds of force. (I “measured” the force of the spring by pushing it down onto a scale). This mechanism allows me to “see” just how hard the device is pulling on me even if I can’t accurately “feel” it.

The second feature I wanted was a separate “sled” to strap onto which could then be easily clipped onto and off of the rest of the device. This would allow for easy adjustments and tweaks to get a more comfortable fit, as well as a “quick release” if there is a problem (or for when the fiance comes home early).

I am really excited about how it turned out and I love using it. Of course, there is no one one in the “real world” I am comfortable showing it to so I am curious about your guy’s opinion. I nicknamed it the “Darknight” firstly because the slit I cut into the sled (for clipping onto the device) reminded me of a face plate of a medieval knight and secondly because Batman totally rocks!

Here is an exploded view that hopefully will answer most of your questions.

The sled is narrow enough to allow it to pass through the base of the device once you are “strapped in”.

As you turn the turnbuckles it extends and puts more visible force on the springs, allowing you to gauge how hard you are stretching by the amount of visible compression on the springs, which also makes for a nice consistent stretch.
The springs I’m using compress flat at around 8 lbs. But I usually use it at around 3 lbs.

I’ll try and do a tutorial if I have enough time and if there is enough demand for it.

Are you cut or uncut? How is that noose working out for you? Is it comfy?

Looks really good, I love the idea of the spring relief and though I don’t hang it certainly looks like that’s the way it should have been done all the time

Cut. I do a very thin wrap to protect myself and so far I haven’t had any problems with the noose style and it grips tighter and more comfortably than anything else I’ve tried. Fortunately this design should allow for a strap type system or a hybrid of both. That’s the next challenge I suppose.

Do a tutorial, please. Although it is a noose style, it looks better than commercial devices, more robust.

The noose was the easiest fastening system to duplicate with the materials I had. (This is my first crack at this!)

Hey! Great looking extender cantlook :) The only thing I’m a little put off by is the noose. I used an Andro penis extender for about 2 months straight work & that hurt like crazy. But yours has the velcro which may give some support to the rest of the shaft instead on all the pressure behind the gland. :) But I’m interested in what everyone has to say. Good job :) keep us posted cantlook.

Good god. Not much money for a Commercial Extender? How?

If you altered this so it worked without the noose as pointed above I bet you could be making a killing off ebay or something.

I came to this free site after researching the sizegenetics and x4labs and realizing there must be a way to get these results without spending $400.00!

That’s my goal. To use this wealth of knowledge we call thundersplace to create the perfect homemade device for (let’s be honest) myself first, and share what I find for the benefit of everyone else along the way.

As it stands right now this device costs maybe $15.00 in materials to build and not that much skill to assemble a basic version. In think the design is universal, however, please understand that as far as the dimensions and specific parts used, they were chosen for my specific needs for kind of a “custom” fit.

I hope to evolve this design soon into an ultimate one size fits all (most) solution that anyone (on thundersplace) can build.

Very cool design! Looks like you spent a lot time wandering the hardware store aisles to find the perfect combination of parts.

How much vertical travel is possible with this design (swing from top range of motion to bottom range of motion)? It seems that it would be limited due to the turnbuckles being attached near the bottom of the pipe coupling instead of on the sides.

Attaching the turnbuckles to the sides (180deg opposite of each other) of the coupling would probably allow more travel but would require a redesign of the sled to have more offset so that the center of the penis would align more closely with the center of the you-bolt/turnbuckle assembly. And redesign is tough when working with off the shelf hardware. Does that make sense?

Your design is just one more example on this site of the fact that there is no limit to man’s creativity when it comes to fiddling with his penis. Imagine if we could harness this creativity for more altruistic purposes.. Oh well, maybe after I jelq some more, adjust my captain’s wrench, and try out this design.

Fantastic work. I’ve got just a couple questions.

The piece of 1 1/2” pipe for the sled seems to be enlarged at both end compared to the center section. Did you do this, or did you purchase a short section of pipe that was already preformed that way?

Also, is the noose kept tight by strapping the velcro over the top of it to capture it between the sled body and the velcro? I’m assuming that the velcro is actually strapped over the top of the penis to trap the penis between the velcro and the sled and then the same for the noose. Is that right?
