How to mod an extender to use vacuum cups?

Currently have an extender that uses nooses, which just doesn’t work with me at all. I was wondering if anyone knows how I can go about modifying this extender to use a vacuum cup, or something like that? It is the Quick Extender Pro. I hope there is something on Ebay or Amazon that I can just attach it to but I haven’t managed to find anything!

You could get some extra extender rods from eBay and use some wire to connect the vacuum cup to the sled.

Yes, it will be very long, but vacuum extenders tend to be long. My old-style TM extender was so absurdly long I cut several inches off the rods to make it easier to manage.

One way to make the hook more stable is to fasten this type of double-exit eyelet into the first two holes of the extender’s lace tray. Before securing it, I slide an M2/M3 hook inside, then you can attach the vacuum dome.

This is my technique, but I have to admit that Andy’s is definitely more practical!

With these double-output hooks, you should be able to keep the vacuum dome steady!

Autoextender has a sled with a clevis pin, to attach to a loop of the vacuum cup. Their cups were a bit of a disappointment for me though 😕. I’ve used their clevis pin to modify my Epic Extender 😁.They have a bungee head too, for wider based extenders.

Normo: I was thinking "hardware", but it suddenly occurred the hooks might be used for fabric, like coats or tarps. Is that what the ones you got were used for?
