I know sleeping in stuff is usually a no no. Although I don’t think either of these constricts blood flow. Anyone with experience care to chime in? It would be greatly appreciated.
It may make a difference as to what kind of PE your doing, but all my experience is traction gains. It is my understanding that traction stimulates new cells, so there is no need to keep from turtling at night. My experience has been to just do enough to stimulate growth, and any more is working against myself when it comes to traction. For me it starts at ~ 2.2 pounds of force for 4 to 6 hours a day. And, then taking a day off if I start to feel a little beat up, or notice a decrease in EQ. Even in my 60’s if I am training right, my dick will be hard half the night, and I think messing with that would be working against myself. If I stop gaining I can increase the force a little bit, but I have never gone beyond 2.6 pounds because it seems like by that time I gain all I am going to. I have quit traction 2X’s and each I have lost some of my gains, and had to do it again. I tried to maintain gains this last time with ADS, but it wasn’t enough. So my thinking is; if ADS doesn’t stop me from losing gains, it wouldn’t likely do anything to create gains.
I think of traction as a firm, but gentle way of making gains.
I do like to wear a 5oz stainless steel shaft collar during the day to keep from turtling. I don’t know if it does any good, but I like the way it feels, and at least while I wear it, I have some nice hang.
