2 questions about bib hanging

First, are there any good pictures of proper usage of the bib hanger(starter) on this site, or can anyone post some?

Second, I just started hanging and I wonder if I should maybe hang every other day at first, I don’t want to hurt myself. Maybe I’m just paraniod, any suggestions? Thanks

If I were you, I would simply go by feel. If you are very sore, and you feel you just cannot handle it, then take a rest day. If you are just a little sore, then try to ride that fatigue, even if it is at a reduced weight. Just remember, no pain.

The best thing to remember is not to push the weight. Start low, 2.5-5 lbs., and go up slowly. You will probably get more problems by too much weight than too much time.

Bib you said that I should just keep the weight comfortable and so I am. I’ve started with 5lbs and it feels comfortable to me. I am wondering though about hang times and number of sets. I’m doing 20 min. sets and today I’ve done 4 can/should I go more? I know not everyones the same but how sets at 20min would you deem safe for a beginer. By the way the hanger kicks ass and is super easy to use. Also I’m using ankle weights because thy are easy to attach and totally adjustable in weight values. Plus I’d imagine at some point, once I go up in weight I can actually strap the weight around my leg with the velcro adjustment and wear pants if need be. Anybody doing this?

I thought about that but I’ve been reading to see what others have done. So far i haven’t read about anyone using the bib hanger under their pants while in public.

It is just that the bib is so fat- everyone would see a huge bulge. The bib is good for heavy weight. Capn’s Wench for ADH. I have 4 or 5 hangers- one for every mood.
