The only thing editing your posts did was to make the rest of the thread look very odd.

You still have not confronted the issues that have been raised. It is entirely unfair and somewhat nefarious to simply drop it now, without any resolution. There are other points also which have not been addressed. As long as it the general topic has come up, all points might as well be put to bed, rather than swept under the carpet.

For a long time, I ignored your comments, just went with the flow for the sake of harmony. But enough is enough. You should explain yourself fully, rather than blaming it on lil, or the stars.

I just spent an hour writing a response, which the web site devoured by telling me I wasn’t logged on (which, as usual, I was). Normally you can backtrack, but in this case I lost it all.

So perhaps in the interest of harmony and resolution, you can specify which unsettled issues are squealing like suckling pigs at slaughter time, and I will do my best to edify without destroying the essential character of this thread, which went astray with one moderator’s non sequitar, became ad hominem with another moderator’s spicy comments, and apparently needs to continue ad nauseam.

Hey Tom,

There is a time out on the cookie your machine gets from the forum. If you are inactive for too long it logs you out. It works for some and has no effect on others at all. I have tried resetting it to a higher limit, but it still bothers some members, some of the time. It may also be a setting in your browser that is disconnecting you after an extended period of inactivity. I don’t think the forum software recognizes typing as an “activity” either. Sorry about that.

this whole thread went awry when lil decided to slight Tom in his own thread and sing your praises. Not to knock you down but If I were Tom I would have been severly pissed too.

Luvdadus, lil said what he said because Tom is giving the appearance that he is the one who developed things that others have actually spent years working on. His attacks on the Bib Hanger were getting way out of line. And his rant about the dorsal nerve thing, he wasn’t even aware of it when he posted the first picture of his AFB, he had the thing positioned on the top and bottom of the shaft until it was brought to his attention that it should be rotated 90 degrees to avoid possible nerve damage.

Who was the first one to make the general PE public aware of the dorsal nerve bundle, it was Bigger. He spent a lot of time on his hangers to avoid damage in that area.

Another thing, Tom has only recently started using a double wrap., or any wrap at all as far as I remember, but now it appears as if he “developed it”. Maybe his own personal style of wrapping, but not wrapping or double wrapping.

Now, some of you guys might think this is not worth the trouble, but it is. Credit needs to go to the right people. Bigger kept his thoughts to himself for quite awhile before he got involved in this thread, I have tried to stay out of it also, but enough is enough. There are probably other issues that need to be cleared up also, but I am too pissed at the moment to think of them.

Tom, I have been letting you get away with a lot of crap here that NO other member would have been allowed to do, this is your notice that it will not be that way in the future. You have made a lot of contributions to PE and your site is a great addition to those contributions. But your behavior lately has been awful, plain and simple. The next step is yours, just think it through before you do it.

I don’t really understand this question. I personally can not pull more comfortably with only two fingers. A hanger is much more comfortable. What made you change your opinion about this? <

Methinks lil made his post as a protest in response to Tom’s previous posts and this thread. The proverbial straw. IOW, there is some history involved.

Please understand, I think Tom’s work has always been exceptional and am glad that he has done what he has done. The AFB hanger in all forms has tremendous merit, especially for those who simply want to try hanging.

Tom is, and always will be the pioneer of PE and hanging. Quite possibly NONE of the guys on this forum, veterans, newbies or guests, would be here or on PEforums if not for the gifts from Tom Hubbard. He is the single reason I began PE. All the gains I made can be specifically attibuted to him. If for nothing other than making me believe it was possible.

Yeah, Tom I set the software up that way, just for you. Grow up some will you?

Write your reply in Notepad or Simpletext first, then copy and paste it. That way if the software fucks up, you still have a copy and can try it again…… :)

I’ve had that same problem when typing time consuming posts, Notepad works wonders in that situation.

Bib. I am not a hanger. And I don’t know all the history of this.
But, you can be sure that a lot of guys read this thread exactly the way I did. I don’t like to see all this strife between you guys.
It seems unnecessary.

Bib. I admire you for your dedication to your product and to your customers and hangers in general. I understand that your hangers are no longer in production, perhaps it is reasonable for Tom to promote his design to help fill the gap for would be hangers.

Tom. I think that we think alike in that we seem to both feel that PE is not rocket science and should be free (the cost of manual stretches and dry jelqs) or next to nothing (adding the cost of lube for wet jelqs to minimal (the cost of a homemade hanger or stretcher). But I do agree with Bib that there are certain guys that don’t have the time resources or talent to fashion thier own hanger so it is fair game for Bib to go after this market.

Thunder. Thanks for such a great site and putting up with the bullshit.

I hope all the combatants can sit back and not let this get out of hand. There are still a lot of dicks out here that need enlarging.
