Adjustment question

I have a problem with the hanger (Bib starter) sliding down to rest on the glans. I have tried various wraps and adjusted it to very tight and it still does the same thing. I am trying to hang 10 lbs,but the head turns purple with white ring around the ridge and i have to take it off as i don’t want an injury. The skin and hanger both slide down over approximately 1/3 of the head. Any suggestions?

Where on the shaft do you attach the hanger? I used to have that problem when I put the hanger too low on the shaft and my skin would move toward the glans. After moving the attachment point closer to the glans (just below the circumcision scar), I notice it holds much stronger. No more numbness or loss of circulation.

I had been placing the hanger about an inch behind the circ scar. Will try moving it forward. Thanks

Make sure when you wrap you pull excess skin back from the head. Sometimes I think mine bunches up, if not pulled back, and helps to create the purple color. Nasty thing it is.

BIB recommends to wrap/attach hanger 1 inch behind the head. Do you know of any complications/problems if you attach the wrap/hanger closer than 1 inch to the head.

I can say that positioning the hanger isn’t as easy for everyone. I’ve tried doing as Bib suggests and it results is skin being bunched excessively. For me, it must go closer to the glans since it’s going to “slide” there anyway.

Definitely try different things to see what works best for you.

As long as the hanger does not rest on the nerve bundle on top of the penis it can be placed closer to the glans. When i started my flacid was less than 3 inches making it impossible to keep it off of the head. Even if attached an inch away by stretching it out.. when you let go it caused the head to go almost inside the hanger. My flacid isnow around 4 inches making it much easier to attach.

Hello Bib, just a quick question. When hanging , are you supposed to have the blue straps point straight out on the sides of the penis or perpendicular to you penis pointing towards the floor ? I found that the latter has two advantages, firstly it reduces pressure on the head and secondly there is a stronger pull on the ligs , what to you think ?

I don’t think I have ever seen this question before. I always had the pulling straps lined up for whatever angle I was hanging at. They should be able to swivel a little bit. So, if I was hanging SO over the edge of the chair, they would be at about a 45 degree angle, etc.

It really depends on what is most comfortable, the hanging angle, etc. Many positions, you will have a loss of stress due to friction. Just go with how you like it, and the way that gives you a good pull.
