After 6 months of hanging

Here are a few ideas for you.

I think 2 months is a while to go with zero gains in hanging (if you’re not getting at least 1/16” in a month with hanging, I think it implies a change is required). Maybe you should try a new angle and go back to doing 9x sets (if possible). I do think you should be able to make gains with far less than 9x sets, although if you have the privacy, you might as well go back to that since it was working for you in the past (try to replicate your success again). If you move to a new angle, a little maintenance at BTC is probably a good idea.

You could swap to OTS (over the shoulder) and work on wrapping the balls / stretching the bottom shaft skin (preventing turkeyneck). Eventually every has to work on this, and maybe now is a good time for you. If you haven’t maximized your suspensory ligament gains, you could go back to BTC / SD after spending at least a few months hanging OTS (guys have had success swapping between these angles; hobby called it the ‘seesaw effect’ theory).

If those angles stop working, you can experiment with other angles… UTL / OTL, or you can move on to fulcrums (e.g. RSDT).

Thanks for response. I am going to try 8 sets a day and measure in a month. If no gains then, maybe a different direction. Maybe this will help at least cement the gains I have, so not a total waste of time. I will say my flacid looks longer, though this is not my goal.

It sounds like you are making at least some form of progress, even if it’s not the kind you’re looking for (improved flaccid length).

I would also be inclined to try different angles (either straight out or up) before adding weight or more sets. If you didn’t see results with that, you might want to try rice sock/duct tape (RSDT) fulcrum hanging.

I wouldn’t change anything if you aren’t gaming just because a month passes

You should give it at least 3 months for your penis to adapt. Then have a day off to measure with decent eq. Hanging always messes up erection quality

Start 6.5 bpel 5.75 eg Current bpel 7.0 eg 6.75 (7.0eg base) Goal bpel 7.25 eg 7.0 mid shaft

Actually, two months passed by, but I am sticking to it and adding sets.

Why the fuck did you go up by 1 or 1.5 lb every week! That’s crazy. I’m sure that after a week you didn;t stop reaching fatigue from that same weight. There was probably no need to up the weight so often.

Bib says you should add 1- 1.5 each week. I stated at 5lbs, so in six months I was up to 21lbs. I am now back down to 17.5, and I am doing 6-8 sets a day. I think I had too many days with only four sets the last couple of months, and I think I need to do a minimum of six. I will measure again in 1 month.

Uhm I’m using bibs method too and I don’t think he said 1 - 1.5lb every week. But you are right in the weight just not time. 1 - 1.5 lbs when you stop reaching fatigue I think.

Blink can you chime in here ;)

But perhaps that explains why you got such great gains in a short time but possibly toughened things up a lot which is why you’re having trouble now. Still I only want about an inch more so 3/4 of an inch would be great! Depending on what blink or bib says I might do what you did. Thanks

Maybe I did misunderstand what Bib said. I will review. When I first started trying to gain length, I wore Andropenis for 3 1/2 months. But, 8-9 hours a day is nearly impossible, even though I have quite a bit of privacy in the office job. But, after 3 1/2 months, the extender becomes very uncomfortable around the head. But, I gained 1/2 an inch in 3 1/2 months with it (from 7” BPEL to 7.5 BPEL).

So, when I started hanging with Bib, I started at 7.5 BPEL in in four months gained to 8 1/4 BPEL. Because I went up in weight each week, and once I got to 17.5 lbs, I allowed my self to slip back to 4-6 sets, lots of only four sets a day for the last two months. I am hoping this is why I haven’t had any gains.

How long have you been hanging, how many sets a day, and how much have you gained?

Thanks for responses!

So you gained .5” in length using an extender before hanging, and another .75” in length after you started hanging, for a total of 1.25”.

I would say you have been pretty successful, but it may be that you have exhausted, at least for now, any length gains you are going to make without investing a very considerable amount of time and effort. You may need several months, at this point, before you see even very small additional gains (like 1/16”).

I have had a total length gain of about 1.5”. I would be delighted to see as much as 1/16” gain per month, at this point, but the reality is more like 1/16” every three months or so.

you misunderstood him. he said it is best to add 1 pound a week UNTIL you reach fatigue in the first or second set. if you are still reaching fatigue with your current weight, there is no need to increase it. it only toughens things up. and before you add weight you should try different angles to reach fatigue at the desirent amount of time.
to sum it up: increasing weight is the last step you should do if nothing else works

1,25 inches is a spectacular gain and within this period of time it is much more spectacular. congratulations

Thanks for info. In response to redbear52 (above) I have gained 1 1/4 inches in length since seeking length, not 1 1/2”. I gained 1/2” with Andropeins, and 3/4” with hanging. My goal is 9” BPEL, and I am now 8 1/4” BPEL. I think the next 3/4 will be tough to get. I will be quite satisified from 8 1/2 BPEL or above.

Actually, I said you gained a total of 1.25” and I had gained a total of 1.50”. But if my experience applies to you, I suspect that you are right and another .75” will be hard to get.

That is about the maximum additional length that I would like to gain (which would also place me around 8.5 BPEL or above), and based on my progress over the last 6 months, I will be pleasantly surprised if I achieve that within the next 2 years.

Yep, you need to hang at every angle, not just BTC. I was in the same boat, gains came to a complete halt until I started targeting other angles.

2009: 5.8 BPEL 5.0 EG Before hanging.

2011: 7.7 BPEL 5.4 EG Hanging 1 to 2 hours a day with Bib starter (padded).

Goal : Length goal hit, cementing now. working on 6.0 EG now.
