Yes, I have realized this. I have gained about a little more than an inche on Side BPEL, however, I have hit a brick wall(plateau). Just trying to get through it is all.

When/if I take 4 days,let alone 6 weeks of rest, won’t my penis shrink to a much smaller size, or try to get back to the original size it started at? This is my fear of taking any decon break.

If you are not growing your penis is experimenting a kind of adaptation that is bad for future gains; said simply:
the more you persist in overworking your penis, the more it will become harder to enlarge.

After a decon break, probably you’ll recover what you lost and (hopefully) you’ll get some more; after a break, your penis will be in the ideal conditions for new gains.

Remember, overwork is number 1 enemy for gains.

Well, I have been constantly hanging for about a year, with maybe a week or so breaks due to illness and such. Being that I have not seemed to gain in the last month or so, maybe I “should” just take a decon break. It will feel weird NOT hanging every day, or even any day. But I guess I have to do what I have to do in order to get the best gain potential. Hanging has taken up much of my free time these days.

Andy why take 4 days off and then take a measurment? I always measure right after a session when it is time to take my measurments.

Days of rest are needed to recover from potential overwork. Gains often have a spurt after 2 days of rest.If you are really overworked, you could see gains after weeks of recovering.

Congratulations on your gains.

It seems that you and I have very similar routines and have experienced similar gains. But, I haven’t hit a plateau yet (knocks on wood). You are looking for suggestions for an ANS. I don’t have one, but, here are some suggestions that may help with the plateau.

On your routine: Do you take rest days? I don’t, I find it interferes with my ability to reach fatigue on my first day back hanging. I also pull out the ‘folds’ with daily piss pulls like you. Do you fulcrum them over your wrist, to the side, or do ‘v’ stretches for a few minutes per hand? Or, just simple one handed stretches? I’ve found that the fulcrums sort of pre-exhaust the tunica and septum for my hanging sets

I agree with Manzwa when it comes to fatigue. For me it feels like a hundred bees stinging my penis behind the hanger, and is so intense I have to immediately take the weight off. It feels as though my dick is about to be ripped off. Sometimes when I feel it coming on I will add a pound to force it to take place sooner. Then drop some weight and continue with my set.

I also find jelqing a complete waste of time. I’ve made great gains without it so why start? It just seems like jacking off to me and that time could be better spent.

I wouldn’t utilize an ANS, it just isn’t worth the risk. You said that you often wake up during the night to pee. I do the same thing - sometimes a couple times. Why not try some light piss pulls during those times.

-why should I expect to see any gains from after 4 days of rest, when I don’t see them immediately following my hanging session? I would think I would measure smaller after 4 days. Maybe we are misunderstanding what each other is saying here. In any case, I am going to take the 4 days off starting today, and then I will measure. What am I looking for when I re-measure? I am at 7.75 side BPEL immediately following a session, so should I look to see if I measuer that after 4 days of rest? I am doing light manual V stretches during this rest period, as well as the sit down stretch whenever I am in my car. But I am doing nothing that brings on fatigue, as I don’t want to tire my dick out or overwork it.

None,only if I am sick. Routine consists of 2-4 20 minute sets with fatigue in the morning, then I try to do the same after work at night. Sometimes I am able to, sometimes too tired from work.

I do a reverse V stretch, since with the RS/DT fulcrum it is bending the tunica downward. So I try and compinsate a little by bending it the other way. I will throw in a V stretch downwards,too, just like the fulcrum hang. I should probably figure out the OTS(over the shoulder) stretch with the fulcrum, because that is what I am trying to do with the reverse V stretch.

My fatigue feeling is a nice dull burn. It sounds like your “bees stinging” feeling is skin stretching, which is also needed initially, as said by BIB. I had that same stinging feeling my first few months of hanging, but now it is a good dull burning sensation.

I completely agree. Although, jelqing seems to be where PE first derived from, and those guys did that instead of stretching/yanking/hanging their dicks. I always figured jelqing was for the girth necessities, and I am fine with my girth as of now. Clamping seems a much better way to gain girth to me, anyways.

Because after an hanging session your penis isn’t in a normal state: it could be bigger or (more easily) shorter than normal. Also, you seem to believe that your penis is growing when you are hanging, or few minutes later: it’s false, a work intense like hanging impose a recovery time, to the penis, lasting at least a couple of hour.
In other words: you grow when you recover, not when you train (at least in hanging case).

You have always to take measurements after 2-4 days of rest, or you are risking errating measures.

And your penis will not be smaller after 4 days of rest, believe me.

Ok, this makes more sense to me now. Maybe that is why I felt as if I have been hitting a wall, because I didn’t show any gains from measuring right after a session for a very long time now. I will measure on Monday. Will light manual stretches, as well as sitting on my dick while driving, during this 4 day rest peroiod head any signs of gains? I am not feeling any signs of fatigue from this work. I just feel as if I need to do some sort of light PE to keep from going stale.

I have to chime in here. If you allow days of rest between sessions you will plateau. You will toughen. The bodies healing processes will see to that.

How does steady working out cause a Plateau? I’ve never had that happen. The only time that has happened with me is when I quite for period, allow healing time and then start again only to find that I’m not only tougher but shorter.

I’ve never heard of that. Perhaps I’m showing ignorance somewhere here but that just flyies in the face of my experience.

Never the less if you break and wait you will heal and the body will build defenses which causes plateaus and toughening.
