Any tips from experienced Bib hangers?

Any tips from experienced Bib hangers?

So I can no longer use my Vac Hanger for some reason without getting bruising but I can use my Bib with no issue. I let me unit heal for almost two months with little to no PE and would like to start hanging again as I was gaining quite well with hanging. My main concerns are getting the blocked vein issue or just getting clots in general or damaging my penis with the clamp.

I am reading everything I can on this forum about the Bib hanger and all that and just want to make sure I get as much info as possible so I do not end up getting injured again as I think the reason I injured myself with the Vac hanger was due to a lack of knowledge on the subject. I will not make that mistake again.

What are some lessons learned, things you wish you knew or things you were glad you knew with starting with the Bib and what does your routine look like? Warm up, # of sets cool down, all that good stuff.

Thanks so much in advance!

You should ask in the bib forum. I would also want to know these things you want to know with a experienced bib hanger, but I just do things as I saw in the e-mail bib sent to everybody that buy’s it.

I am an experienced Bib hanger. I have made several threads with Bib tips.

Tip 1:

The most important tips which actually took me a long time to implement myself is that you need to ensure proper attachment before applying weight and before clamping down completely.

Basically, you first want to clamp down say 50% of your final clamp force. At this point, pull/push the hanger towards the head as if weight was attached. Done properly and if the hanger is attached correctly, it will slide, but settle in at a certain point and stop. This point is where you clamp down the rest.

Tip 2:

In order to make sure you hang correctly, start hanging straight out or a similar position where your skin doesn’t stop your hanger from sliding. When I (and many others) first start hanging, it’s actually the skin which stops the hanger from slipping. This conceals poor hanging technique.

When I started hanging SO, my hanger would invariably “crush my head” since I had poor technique. This forced me to take action.

Tip 3:

Generally, I think I’d avoid hanging if you can’t put in an average of 4 sets per day/7 days per week. There might always be exceptions and particularly if you can add in some manual work or wear an ADS consistently. But, it seems like most people gaining in hanging are putting in a bit of effort doing so.

Tip 4:

Continuing on tip 3, I’d go for volume over force. Ticktickticker on these boards are currently making great gains with relatively low weight (he has better results than me with much less weight than me), but with high volume.

Finally, I’d say that a Bib hanger can be pretty comfortable. As comfortable hanging heavy weights from your dick can be, I guess. When I get set up correctly, it can be very comfortable. But, it takes time to learn this and it’s important to not increase weights too fast.

Good luck!

I can also add that I’m uncut and I just shrug when I see uncut guys blaming their foreskin. It has really no significance at all with regards to hanger attachment. Just a convenient excuse since it is in fact a bit tricky to learn proper hanging technique.

I just read your post and your thread about how you hang and wrapping technique, and I was doing that way and just stopped doing it last week, I hope tomorrow I do as you said and feel that sweet spot. Thank you very much for your posts and that thread, it is hard to find a thread good like that. For me, I am Brazilian, there is nothing on my language on anything on the internet about Bib Hanger, I hope in the future if I get big gains and my goal, I’d help the guys that speak portuguese. Again, thank you.

c3ifador,

Good luck and let me know if I can be of help. The stuff I wrote there were some things that really clicked for me even though I had hanged for a long time at that point.

Tip 5:

I guess your girth and Bib model is a variable here, but generally, I’d avoid a too thick wrap. Also, I like to wrap first with a cloth.

Tip 6:

You shouldn’t need to be clamping extremely tight. At least not until you’re hanging very heavy weights. You should try to attach the hanger such that it kind of sits tight without too much clamping force. That’s when you got the right fit and right amount of wrap.

It’s also wise to tighten after the weights are attached and/or as you’re attaching. Always release the weights very slowly.
