Cementing lig stretch

We talk in permanent terms of cementing erect gains. I wonder if lig stretch is permanent, and how long it takes to “cement” them to get them to stay elongated:

I have not lost any hanging gains at all when I have taken multiple months off (I’ve been a lazy ass recently, as I’m quite satisfied with my current size). I believe that most of my gains have come through lig stretch. So I do suspect that lig stretch (at least through hanging) is at least semi-permanent, probably more so than, say, girth expansion through jelqing or whatever.
