Wow…almost 40 lbs from Oct. to March! I think if memory serves correct BIB topped out at 45 lbs over 19 months. IMO, you might want to slow it down…It’s about time, not about weight.
BBS, I agree that this is an excellent thread, thanks to trigger for starting it and for Bib’s advice. But I realize now that I probably should have begun a new thread rather than diverting attention from trigger’s original post. Thanks, trigger, hope you didn’t mind too much.
About me getting up to almost 40 lbs, I’m actually pretty surprised myself for being able to do it, and I know I got some terrific stretches during the six weeks or so I kept hanging at that level. I could really feel the fatigue set in, and I hated not to be able to take advantage of that for as long as I had hoped. However, my leaving on vacation would have prevented me from doing any substantial hanging anyway. Now I’m looking forward to resuming hanging after the vacation is over in early June, and finding out if I get some quick gains like others have reported here following a long rest period.
