I’ve done 10 lbs. before. Never thought I needed to try more. Not if you coax the blood out of it properly before wrapping. 20 minutes max is all I do.

There are a few things I can think of that may help twisting. Use a thin sticky wrap, this will add friction and prevent twisting between your penis and the wrap and between the wrap and the hanger while tightening. Start with the bottom screw fairly tight so you can lock your dick in place and then start tightening the front screw.
