For all you hangers that have used, or are using a homemade hanger; What are you using, and what has been the best homemade hanger for you? I would like to find which homemade hanger is being used the most. And maybe find some new ideas as well.

When I hung (I may get back into it) I found that my favorite piece of home made kit was the Captain’s Wench by a country mile. It’s cheap, light weight, easily hidden or explained (uh…it’s for weightlifting!) and it’s comfortable as all get out to wear almost all day. It’s only downside is that it cannot support very heavy weights.

I use a home made vacuhanger but it sucks. I make it with rubber fingers from cleaning gloves and after a couple sessions it start slipping off.

I used AFB hanger before I got Bib. It is very easy and simple to make.

I use a variation of the home-made bib, and the cap’ns wench. Its made from medium diameter radiator hose. The inside of the hose is lined with light criss-crossing lines of silicone, and a cable clamp keeps it on my penis. It has hung nine pounds without making my head turn blue. Not sure of its potential for poundage, but it does the trick for now.

I use captn wench PE device. I hang only about 5 lbs using it. I tried it once with more than 25 lbs, and it didn’t slipp (but only for about 30 seconds or so).

Figures that I would ask this question and basically get a different answer from everyone! Lol! Looks like the Captians Wench is in the lead for now. I thought that there would be one that was going to be a clear leader.

I have tried a DIY vacuum hanger and been very pleased with it compared with the wench that I previously used. I’ve been surprised at how much weight it can hold (>10 lbs) with my regular soft sleeves and can go even higher when using stronger silicones. I’ve also considered trying a hybrid vacuum/wench to get a little more capacity, if necessary.

That being said, I haven’t been hanging as part of my regular routine. The wench was not easy nor comfortable in comparison to the vacuum hanger, but more experience with the vacuum hanger might reveal more weaknesses.

Finally, if you are used to doing longer hanging sets, you might be limited to shorter sets with the vacuum hanger. Fluid build up could become a problem, otherwise.

Also remember dlm4, that most of use have likely tried more than one type of hanger before we settled. One man’s garbage is another man’s gold. I’ve tried Tom Hubbard’s AFB hanger, and also the Swim-cap hanger. I didn’t care for the way the AFB squeezed my cock, but the Swim-cap is definitely comfortable and easy to use with practice.

Some guys like the Bib, some like the Vac. Your best off using the sticky at the top of the forum about hangers, and finding your own preferences. They all work. Its all about what works for you.

I have read the thread at the top. I guess I was hoping to find one hanger that was used more often than the others. I tried vac hanging, cant do it because of the fluid build up. I have built a couple diffferent bib models that show promise, but I am still running into problems. And today I built an AFB which Im using as we speak. So far the problem I am having with it is that my dick wants to turn sideways in it. So it wants to grab the top and the bottom, not the sides. This is a BIG no no! Any suggestions on this for people who have used the AFB? Thanks for everyones input, it is appreciated!

I had the same problem with the AFB, thats why I scrapped it. Plus you have to tighten it to the point of amputation to use it. Vac hanging makes my glans turn cold way to fast. I love my homemade bib starter, once I got the wrap right I’ve never had problems.

My homemade bib isnt too bad. I think I just need to make a bigger one…again. Im pretty big girth wise and my skin and some flesh get squeezed together a little on the top and bottom when its tightened. I also get a lot of pressure in my head, or it fills up with blood and gets engorged. Does this happen to you? I also get alot of fluid build up at the bottom part of my dick near the head.

Home made Bib Hangers / Bib’s Uli thing - I don’t have any experience with the official bib. The link shows approximately the version I use. I used to have problems with blood accumulating in my head, but wrapping proper, and being 100% flaccid cured that problem. Honestly with 6 months under my belt, the only thing I have to be concerned with is reaching fatigue and riding it out. Once you get to know your penis, you may even enjoy having a little blood collecting in your head though. Some believe it helps increase head size.

I can’t comment on fluid build-up dlm4, as I’ve never had that problem. Also, my bib is made so that it will not completely close together at the top, that way the skin does not get pinched.

Try this.
Wrap with a cotton cloth.
Then wrap with a ace bandage
take a cold drink cooler
put a caribiner through the end
use a cable clamp to hold it in place
attach whatever weight mechanism you prefer (i.e. pulleys, chain w/cariber, etc.)

I find it very comfortable and very inexpensive.
