Glans safety while hanging?

Hello all,

Before I shell out $80+ for a hanger, I’d like to find out more about glans safety. It appears to me that hangers end up resting on the glans. For example, I look at this photo from the Redi-Stretcher website (showing what I assume to be correct usage:

I am just worried about hanging and losing head sensitivity due to it. Whenever I manually stretch I make sure to keep my grip far enough from the head.

Any thoughts?

If you are concerned with risk - use a vac hanger.

The only risk there seems to be blisters, which is a pain in the ass (on the glans, I mean) but resolves completely after a week of healing.
