Hey Guys!

I’m New To PE And Hanging Etc..

I Have A Bib Hanger And Have Tried Hanging With And Without A Wrap, It Seems So Much Easier And More Comfortable To Hang Without. Can A Carry On Doing This Or Is There A Really Major Reason Why I Shouldn’t? Thanks

Why are you capitalizing every word? It Just Seems Like A Lot Of Effort.


Size is little more than a controllable perception without an accurate means of measurement.

Wrap will become important lets say…after 5 or 7 pounds. If you can hang without it all the power to you. But I doubt you will get very far (poundage, # sets, etc) without wrap. That’s just insane man!


I'm consistent in spurts, but gains are undeniable!

2007: BPEL 5.5" / MSEG 4.7" / BG 5.5"

2017: BPEL 6.8" / MSEG 5.3" / BG 6"

As hopeful2hanglow said, when you use significant weight, as you eventually will, you’ll need a wrap. Start using one now. Learning to apply it correctly requires practice.

Why are you hanging?

“New to PE” and “hanging” in the same sentence isn’t right…

Do the newbie routine for at least a year. You will gain more from that… hanging is for when you hit a plateau with the newbie routine.

Also, don’t do it without a wrap if you are going to be dangerously impatient. You will get nerve damage.


Time to measure girth soon... previously 4.5", been targeting girth for months!

Thanks for the advise, i know your all going to try to talk me out of it but i hate manual stretching. Have made some good girth gains so far with the jelqs and persist on hanging for my length.

I have watched the wrapping video and looked at the main wrapping thread. Still struggling to wrap properly though. Think it may be worth searching for all the wrapping threads and do a little digging to see what else i can find.

Lol I tried wrapping for the first time with some Johnson and Johnson Roll of Gauze. I did not know about the theraband. Hence one time, 12.5 pounds on my foot. Ouch!


Start 2-31-10 ___ EL:4.3"_____ BPEL: 4.75" ____ EG: 4.25"

Current ________ EL: 4.9" ___ BPEL: 5.9" _____ EG: 4.6"

Goal ___________ EL: 6.5" ____ EG: 5.25" ______________ New Routine: Jelqing 5 minutes, then Hang (12.5 lbs.) for 20 mins. a day

I have recently started wrapping, kinda got the hang of it now.

I use a cotton strip then a theraband strip.

I know the cotton strip it purely for comfort, vut whats the theraband for? I’m guessing its only purpose is so the hanger gets a good grip?

All I can say is pain, pain and more. I have been hanging off and on for some time and there is no way I could without wraping not at these weights and not at the periods of lengths.
