If you’re just starting out, I suggest spending some time at the lower angles regardless of your LOT (BTC in particular, though you may have to ease down to it depending on how loose your skin is). As SNM said, the best and easiest gains come from stretching the ligs. Get whatever you can out of them.

In SO more structures share the load, so you get less bang for your buck weightwise. If, for example, 10 lbs. is supported by both the ligs and tunica, neither is being stressed as much as if the tension were primarily applied to one or the other.

Thanks guys. I’ve been at it about 2 weeks. I have the feeling I’m in the big leagues now. Didn’t think I would ever hang weights off my dick, but here I am. I’ll continue with SD and BTC.

One thing I was thinking was that I’m about 1/2 to 1 inch longer from the side. So, even if my LOT is low, I still have that much penis from the top to come out. Just an idea.

Your skin has to stretch first just remember that. The skin stretch period for me was a bit painful. I didn’t know that no hair is a must. I Nair it.

I don’t quite understand BTC hanging. Are there any diagrams that show how to do it? My searches aren’t getting me anywhere.

Try looking for a recent thread by RockXP about hanging. In the first post of the thread, he had a link to a pic of me hanging BTC. (Or you could search for the original thread where I posted a BTC hanging pic in Members Pics…)

I’m circumsized, but it seems only partially. I have enough foreskin to make hanging a problem. I’ve found after 2 weeks what I have to do is clamp the hanger almost at my base. I have the full bib hanger. By the time the weight is fully hanging the hanger is almost at my head. Do any of you guys have to do this? I tighten the hanger pretty tight, so I know it’s not slipping down the shaft.

Honestly Thal, there seems to be some difference of opinion regarding newbie hanging. Some here seem to think yes, and some seem to think no. (Probably more leaning towards no though.)

However, over the next few months my opportunity to hang is probably going to dwindle (privacy). So I want to see if I can pick up a bit before then.

I really do appreciate your concern though Thal. I really do. I’ve read alot in this forum and you guys are really great. I know that your concern is genuine.

I will say that I am being careful. I’ve constructed a Captain’s Wench, and it works great. I started out light (5lbs) and have increased the weight only when the lighter weight fails to fatigue. (Up to 10 lbs standing up now. Will be on that for quite a while.) I have been jelqing and stretching, and will be able to continue those exercises indefinitely.

Sounds like it is slipping down the shaft and the skin is supporting the load. See this post and also click the link in it.

You need some more blood in the CC’s. Also, tighten several times.
