High-weight vac hanging

I’m uncut and really want to avoid discoloration of my dick. The combination of these two things has led me to believe that vac-hanging is most suitable for me. However, I have not seen any gains now in far over a year and really pretty much since the first six months of PE.

I feel it’s that I either need to hang with more weight or give up on hanging. However, even with taping, swelling has prevented me from being able to do more than about two sets a day/about an hour a day total before a prohibitively large doughnut forms just belows my glans centered at the frenulum. Taping has worked in controlling glans swelling but I can’t seem to get it to do anything about the frenulum doughnut.

What’s the highest weight that people around here are generally able to do with vac hangers? Are any of you able to do a couple hours a day at weights in the neighborhood of 15lbs+, for example? To me it’s seeming like it’s impossible.

Ironaddict69 does 23 pounds I think, he definitely has no problem with 15. He has mentioned that 23 is a little rough on his glans though. Personally I like to stay at low weights for longer hanging time. If I can get the fatigue at lower weights, you bet I’m going to do it. I usually don’t go past 5 pounds, so I’ve never gotten a frenulum doughnut from the vac (not sure if I will at higher weights).

What weight are you hanging at with the vac, and what weights have you tried in the past? Do you use the constriction sleeve along with the tape? I’m guessing you’ve already tried taping your frenulum area? If you have trouble with sliding after taping that area I bet you could cut a thin slice of a silicone sleeve and put that around your taped frenulum before putting on the vac-hanger. It might help just to put another layer of something between the vac and your frenulum.

I just started using 15 lbs, and have only gone over an hour in a day a few times, so I can’t speak from experience. It would seem that a silicone sleeve of some kind may be useful (as RandomGiant suggested).

My homemade device doesn’t really allow for swelling of the frenulum, and I’ve used it for over 18 hours in a day (not hanging but as ADS), and never seen any swelling beyond the glans. I have been using tape since then and get very little swelling now. You can see it in my thread in the progress reports forum.

Haha, yeah he is totally right though. However, I would use it for 45 minute sets, 2-3 times a day. Now I use my bib because the sleeves for the vac kept breaking. Keep in mind, tons of uncut guys use the Bib. Discoloration is minor, and it goes away within hours for me, and I do 20 minute sets, usually 5-6 a day now.

The only difference I can find in the 2 hangers, is that the:

1.) Bib hits tunica fatigue real quick. I “kind of” feel it in my ligs, and I don’t like it for fulcrum hanging. I honestly think it will gain better.
2.) The vac owns for the BTC angles, and for fulcrum stretches, it is just more comfortable.

I tape my entire glans, and run a strip of tape about 2 inches below the underside of my dick to avoid that fucking dough nut thing you talk about. It pisses me off, I get so thick everywhere I couldn’t get it back in the XL cup.

Just over the end of the glans where the most vacuum is experienced. I use about 1.5x2” of coaches tape which covers about 75% of my glans.

So which is the better? The bib hanger or the vac hanger?

Vac for sure.

I’d have to go with the vac hanger for lower weights and the Bib for 15+ lbs.

Many don’t believe me but I can hang 25 lbs with my vac way easier than I ever hung 18 with the Bib. Use the red sleeves.

I use tps’s Redi-Stretcher for above 10 lbs. The Vac hanger gave me rather bad lymph (or is it edema?) blisters.

I say ‘vac hanger’ but it’s really monkeybar’s Vac-stretcher head attached to weights.

I’ll say this: it was very comfortable; I didn’t even notice that I had a problem until I took it off. It took a few weeks to heal. That part sucked big time.

I like the Redi-Stretcher a little better than the Bib as it has a quick release. I think that’s a key feature.

Mostly I used the vac head as an ADS and the Redi-Stretcher for any heavy hanging. I don’t use heavy weight, though. 10 or 12 pounds max.

I use 3M’s paper tape now and its really awesome. I haven’t tried the coaching tape. But if you go on Static Stretcher’s website they give you a video on how to tape. I just tape the glans and 1-2 inches below it.

Iron do you use a normal rice sock when fulcrum hanging with the vac?
