How many sets a day hanging as a hanging beginner and a very advanced manual stretche

R
The title says it all. I have been PEing for over 3 years and I need length that I cannot gain. I have been on a plateau for too long so I started hanging today. I have done my research but couldn’t find an answer to my question: how many sets can I do a day as a hanging beginner? I had manual stretching sessions up to 90 minutes in the past and stretched for at least 60 mins a day.
I know I have to start with a very light weight and increase it gradually 1-2 pounds a week to the point where I reach fatigue.
Can I hang as long as I want (20 mins sets) as long as I don”t feel pain? Maybe 8-10 sets a day 7 days a week? I am very conditioned.
It would be nice if you could give me some information for someone who is not a PE beginner but a hanging one for the first weeks.

@Admin can you please move it to the hanger’s forum?

wurst,

The recommended hours to hang per week is 10. So 2 hours per day, 5 days a week is a good start.
Since your are a beginner to hanging, you will have to master a few things before you feel comfortable to hang 2 hours a day (20 minutes set).
There is a definite learning curve to hanging, I recommended to read more of BIB post, there are lots of valuable information that you will relate along the way.

Apart from the hanger setting issues, pain or skin pinch. Fatigue will determine when you are done for the day.
Basically, BIB pointed out that if your max weight is 5 pounds and because of intense fatigue, you subsequently have to reduce the poundage in order to hang. When you reached half of your max (2.5 pounds), then you are done for the day for that particular angle.

Did you focus on BTC for your manual stretch?

No I did not focus on BTC because I realized that my NBPEL would not increase with my BPEL. Nevertheless I started hanging BTC because everyone recommends that for the beginning and maybe I still can get some NBPEL gains. Gains so far 0.8 inches in a little more than 3 years besides great girth gains.

I have read a lot of Bib’s posts and I know what fatigue means and how I have to cope with it (max weight, decrease to half of it, always feeling fatigue etc.)

As far as I know, 10 hours a week is the minimum hanging time to get gains, not the recommended. The recommended is as long as possible but I ham a beginner so I am not sure. Another problem is that I most likely will not reach fatigue with my current 3 pounds so I could hang 3 hours a day without any problems but I don’t know if It is a good idea. Yesterday I hung 10 sets without a problem with only 3 pounds. Because my penis is well conditioned from manual stretching I wonder when I will reach fatigue. I guess something between 6-8 pounds with a lot of sets. I know everyone is different so I will see.

When your starting out it’s still all about time the more time the better, in the beginning you keep the weight light but time is still the same story, the more the better. Only 20 minute sets though and you should be able to add weight faster than most because you already have a conditioned dick.

I haven't failed, I've found 10,000 ways that don't work. Thomas Edison (1847-1931)

Glad to hear that.
The reason I was not sure about that, was that thread: Hanging 101 + Sample Routine
The sample routine starts with a low hanging time.

What do you guys suggest, how often should I add 1 pound to the point where I reach fatigue. Maybe 10 days? That would be an increase of 3 pounds a month, which is already higher than what is recommended for total beginners. Maybe I could increase it even every week. I don’t know.

Go by how it feels not by time, but always err on the side of caution.

Yes, 10 hours is the minimum recommended time to hang. It is a “recommended” number based on experience of BIB mainly, so noting is specific. Some members have hanged less than that and still made gains.

My personal experience was that any thing less than 10 hours per week hanging was a waste of time.

Running a Massive Co-Front.

The more time the better. Just realize with weight, you DO NOT need a lot of it to pull your penis out. It is constant tension that hanging provides that is so valuable. Start at 5 lbs, and even though I bet it will feel light for you, don’t go up too fast. If you cannot even feel it after a while (5 minutes into the set), try maybe 7. See where we are all going with this?

The bib is not easy to use. I never figured it out and I tried for over a year. It just did not work with my dick. The vac-hanger did work, is not for sale anymore, however Max Vac’s are and the site is up and running again I THINK, make sure.

Thanks for all your replies

I have a rubbish hanger that is ok for the 3 pounds that I am hanging at the moment. When I have figured out where to get the stuff for a captains wench I willl make one. I will increase to 4 pounds next week. Wish a hard gainer luck. By the way I won’t have a rest day unless it’s necessary

It’s 100% true.. It is not necessary to hang minimum of 10 hours to get gain; I do hang heavy weights for 20min daily + ADS and I am seen results

I agree with horsedick99 as I have results from 20 minutes a day + ads as well. My hanging goes upwards of 40 pounds however.

3/07 7.75 bpfsl, 4 12/16 midshaft EG

5/08 9.0 bpfsl, 5 10/16 midshaft EG clamped

7/09 8 4/16 BPEL, 6 midshaft EG clamped

Don’t be so anxious to add weight. Watch your gains on a monthly basis. Impatience is your greatest enemy. Only increase weight when your gains slow down. Measure all you want but only write down your measurements once month on a calendar. The reason for that is it is easier to see your results. If you go by how it feels or arbitrarily add weight you’ll end up like airshy in the 40lb area. That is really dangerous stuff and isn’t necessary. I was hanging over three years and didn’t go over 20 lbs with continuous gains. There’s all kinds of techniques other then adding more weight to get things moving.

No disrespect airshy

09-2003 BPEL:6.0x5.5

11-2004 BPEL:8.25x6.25 . . 9+ by Spring is the goal AIR CLAMP

Now BPEL:8 5/8 x 6 5/8 PE Weights

Conditioned or not start with about 2-4 sets a day and hang for a full 20 minute set if you are able to tolerate it. Your beginning weight should be 2-3lbs. When you are just getting into a hanging routine don’t be afraid to back off and take easy days if you feel you are over worked. By over worked I mean skin irritation, soreness, and any strange feelings.

Remember the most important thing when your learning to hang isn’t weight, hang time, or gains….It is learning the technique and mastering it.
