I am somewhat frustrated about hanging

Ok, I am somewhat frustrated about hanging.

So basically in time as I go up in weight and hours that I perform hanging. I will eventually grow.

Is this fairly accurate to say. I mean I already understand. I am just trying to understand even more. It seems like my penis has gotten a lot stronger. So does this mean it will be tougher for me to gain with hanging.

Or will I need to increase the weight. I am using between 15.0 lbs to 17.5 lbs.

Should I increase the load or what do you think.

Most guys do. As long as you are doing it properly. Not stretching only skin, changing angles as needed, etc.

Yes, eventually. It is that way with any type of PE. If you are applying the stresses needed to increase size, your penis will become stronger, and it will require more stress to make additional gains. That is one reason many guys plateau fairly early with stretching or jelqing. The greater stresses required are hard to generate.

When you no longer reach a fatigued state with the private time you have available, and at your current weight, and/or you no longer are making gains, you have several options:

You can increase the stresses by increasing weight.

You can try to increase time by use of an ADS device.

You can change the angles of stress, still basing your attack on your LOT. Things such as fulcrum hanging, or other unique angles.

You can take an extended break allowing the collagenous tissues to become weaker.

PE is a catch 22. As you gain, it is harder to gain because of the increasing stresses needed. This has been true for almost every one of the thousands of guys that have been in the various forums.

One of the most interesting theories I have ever seen discussed was the theory of getting the gains as quickly as possible before the tissues had the chance to increase significantly in strength. That weakened tissues should be easier to manipulate than stronger tissues. This is something I always had in mind when I was going for gains.

One more Q….(I’m assuming the gains from hanging are permanent)…would taking a strategic break once your ligs have become very strong allow them to weaken, thus expediting more gains? (presumably until they strengthen again, requiring another break)??

No, my wife cut me off from PE a long time ago.

That is a theory that seems to hold true. Many guys have reported increased speed of gains after an extended break. I would say, just from anecdotal evidence, that it requires at least a month or two, although some have held off for six months or more.

Just as with weight training or any other body building pursuit, all the tissues become stronger under stress, adapting to the stresses. The penis is not different, particularly the collagenous tissues that we deal with. And just as with any other body building pursuit, the tissues become weaker from a lack of use or stresses. Think of it this way: What happens to the tissues of an arm or leg that is required to be in a cast for six weeks? Not only do the muscles atrophy, but the tendons and ligaments all become weaker also.

Somewhere within this section are some good links explaining the adaptions of ligaments under stress. But I have no idea where.

I took about a three week break from hanging and just started again yesterday. It seemed to me that my ligs got stronger because I was hanging the same amount of weight and it didn’t feel as strenuous as before. However, I am hanging right now and can feel alot of soreness from yesterdays hanging sessions, so I don’t really know what I’m talking about. I’m planning on having this week as my last week of hanging (hoping to reach my goal), and I really hope and don’t go over my goal length. Any suggestions not to go over? Measure often?
