As i stretch lower in the hanger toward btc skin stretch seems to become more of an issue.

Is this normal, and what do i do about it? — Stretch the skin or go for higher angles?

I had this too. It never occurred to me that it should be any other way… I’m kinda dull sometimes. Only stretched on top, though. I assumed it was a problem with my wrapjob.

Went away after about three weeks. I just used lighter weights until then.

Absolutely. The skin on top will have to stretch in order to display gains. It is usually the first limiting factor. For me, the primary skin stretch took about two weeks, but I pushed it. Then, as the internal structures grow, you will have to stretch more skin from time to time.

Also, realize that on the bottom, the stretch will be ‘borrowing’ skin from your scrotum. That is why you do not feel skin stretch on bottom. So to reduce the ‘turkey neck’ effect, at some point you will need to wrap your scrotum, and hang at the upper angles to bottom shaft skin.

If the burning from skin stretch becomes too intense, you can either reduce the angle, or lower the weight. It took me a couple of months to get to the true BTC position.

Bib, I have been finding that ball stretching (with cable clamps or a ball ringer) has helped a whole lot with the turkey neck, but not completely. Obviously upper angle hanging while wrapping the scrotum will stretch the shaft skin down much more efficiently - and won’t have to take my sac down past my knees. Thanks for mentioning this here, as I would not have ever thought of it otherwise!

Can someone explain what they are talking about here?
