Not feeling fatigue from hanging, no gains

The vac hanger is much more comfortable compared to a compression hanger.

I can strap on 5-10 lbs and just continue working as normal, but I just don’t see any BPEL gains other than temporary BPFSL gains.

I’ve been hanging for about 40 min now using a silicone cylinder - about 1” in diameter. I suppose this is a fulcrum stretch, and I feel this strange intermittent tug in the perineum region. Anyone else feel something similar?

With other tissues we can see there is a difference between exercises that elongate a tendon and cause damage that causes a shortening of the tendon. A certain amount of force and time results in elongation, while more than that causes shortening, fibrosis, and even calcification.

It’s really intuitive to use higher weights and more force, but in my experience that hasn’t given the best results.

A few months is not enough to track your progress and say that you aren’t gaining. You also need to track BPEL and BPFSL. I didn’t gain with my hanger for about 4 months, but gained in BPFSL.
1-2 hours a day nearly every day is not enough, and it doesn’t sound like you have an established routine either.

I track BPEL and BPFSL, both remain the same, except for BPFSL which temporarily increases after hanging.

You can try changing angles if SD/BTC provided no gains for ‘a few months’ then. RTSD or OTS with a lower weight first. Also read this and understand it because it’s the most important part for gains in hanging. You may as well not have reached the necessary weight to get to fatigue since you kept increasing weight, but I can’t know for sure. I stayed in the fatigue zone at 12lbs for a long time and am still only at 17.5lbs after a year of hanging. Fatigue with Bib hanger means reducing the weight after the 1st or 2nd 20 minutes set, maybe different for vacuum hangers.

You can also detail exactly when you reduce weight at each set so people know if you’re riding the fatigue or just choosing a random number. And record hanging time per week (should be 10 hours+ a week).

It’s like a slight to moderate ache at the place where the pubic bone and penis meet.. I think I did and hour or two hours of vac hanging every day for like 6 months. Took a break and then lost a lot. And the vac hanger no longer works and slips like crazy. Trying to figure out the bib now. When ai do I will start from scratch again and progress like bib would have it done. Or even how the Vac hanger site would do.
