First let me thank BiB for a great tool. Well designed and comfortable. :)

I’ve had my BiBhanger for a few months. This is probably my 3rd go around. I quit the 1st 2 times because of finding enough time. The breaks were good though, it gave me time to learn the correct techniques to hang comfortably before I did any damge.

The one thing I learned is there is such a thing as too much hanging. Presently I hang 3 x 20 minutes at 12 lbs. If I try to increase it and hang another 3 sets even at a lower weight I find I am too sore. Even with a couple days off I am still too sore.

Now this may be becasue I’m older (46) and my body takes longer to heal than someone who is let’s say 20 years old. The only point i’m trying to make is just because other guys can hang all day doesn’t mean you can. This is not a contest, listen to your body. :)

Maybe later as I train more I can handle more but for now 3 x 20 does just fine for me.

It’s good that you have found the zone for fatigue. However, something that a lot of people are missing on this forum is the “time” factor. Bigger (of Bib hanger fame) got his amazing results by putting in a lot of hang time in the fatigued state. That is - he fatigued his ligs so they would be more apt to stretch and tear (micro-tears or controlled damage) and he kept hanging. Gaining permanent length by hanging in a LONG-TERM process that involves a lot of hours with the hanger on. If you have the time to get in a couple more sets per day while fatigued, you will improve your chances of gaining.

I understand what your saying, up until a couple weeks ago I was doing 2 hours of hang a day (20 minutes on/ 10 minute break). What I am saying is if I hang 2 hours a day on a consistent basis my dick is too sore. Even if i hang the 1st hour at 12 lbs and the 2nd set at 9 lbs.

Like I said above maybe it’s because of my age but I need some healing. At one hour a day I still get a very good ligament strech the next day, I know I’m still creating those microtears :)

I’m in no race here, I’m already 8.5bpel x 5.5. 9x6 (or more) would make me very happy.
