Yes but how tight on the shaft do you need to tighten the hanger so that it does not slip at 30+ lbs?

I know you have the regular so that has more surface area than a starter model, but as you tighten do you fell the resistance in the wingnut and how tight do you go with that wingnut? Till there is pain? What makes you stop turning the nut?

I am very interested in this because I need to really crank on that wingnut.

I have never heard anyone escibe how tight they turn the Bib Hanger wingnut… not even Bib. Come to think of it, I will have to ask him too. I am pretty sure that Bib will talk about “pulse pushing” in reference to tightening the hanger.

How tight? I don’t know. There is 1 inch space on its back and half inch space on the front, when tightened. It is tight enough for me. Thats my setting. Its is very comfortable, without pain, I can hang even with 40 pounds and and this is a little bit disturbing. I feel that I am just firming the fibers not breaking away. My veins are much-much better with this silicone sleeve but I don’t feel the fatique.

That is amazing to me that 30+ lbs is comfortable for you. Do you reach fatigue and have to reduce weight?

I did 4 sets with the silicone sleeve, and silver thera, with talc using my regular bib without padding. I tightened the wingnut as I normally do (until it will not turn easily). I was only hanging 7.5 lbs but I tightened it as much as I can bear. That was a bad idea because I am not conditioned with the regular anymore. The profile of the grip area of the regular and hardcore are very different. I was severely retracted within a few hours after the session.

Unfortunately I think I thrombosed a vein. I have a black and blue area about the size of a dime on the bottom of my shaft toward the glans.

I am a fast healer so I expect to be back in business within a few days. I took aspirin, vitamen B, and an NSAID.

I have probably done this before and just worked through it.

I don’t feel the fatique. I am hanging now with 42 lbs (SD and BTC) and I will go up until I feel some pain. I am rubbing with DMSO/Aloe vera cream my shaft twice a day. I have to make my tunica more rigid, because my collagen fibers are very resistant.

Sorry, I missed your post. Of course I want to know why you have not had to go heavy and are still gaining.
I too have not had to go heavy to reach fatigue. I gain but very slow. Now I focus more on the stretch. The less weight you need to get a good stretch is an excellent indicator of gains in-the-making.

Wow, that’s some serious weight.

I recently began to hang and I am up to 10 pounds for sets and people are posting suggesting that I back off and use less weight!, then I read this thread and see the type of weights you guys are doing and I wonder how heavy I will have to go to get results.

What are your results sheLovesIt, by the way?


Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

My PE stats are current.

I once hung 20-22.5 for a few minutes a sets. I did this for a week or so as a shock routine. I turtled like never before.

Otherwise I never went over 16-17.5 lbs.

Make time at fatigue your goal.

Are you using the soft sleeve, or soft large?

The soft is blue, but there’s no picture for the soft large so I don’t know what color it is. The difference between the two is that the soft large has a larger inside diameter, and thinner walls.

I think, it is the soft sleeve.

Daman, any luck reaching fatigue lately? I have also been unable to experience any soreness at all with 25 lbs BTC 6 sets/day and was just wondering if you could suggest to me some different ways to bring on ligament fatigue? Only time I recall experiencing soreness was when I first began hanging but nothing since then really.

I could not with this silicone wrapping. Now I am taking a pause and trying to figure out how can I hang safely and efficiently.

You could not what with this silicone wrapping? It appears you’re having a problem reaching fatigue and am curious if you still believe that this is the perfect wrapping for the big hanger? My components are on order and I’m curious.

Health is the most important thing for me. I have no thrombosed veins in my penis and this is a big plus. Maybe the attach of the hanger was too high, I have to put it lower. You can try this method and write a review later. Everybody is different.

More posts this year than in the previous 10? Who are you and what have you done with the real daman?

Plus you are setting a bad example for mrbee. He has posted 4 times in 1/2 a year!

I’m not understanding why you need any wrapping over the monkeybar sleeve. Why not talc-sleeve-hanger? Not enough traction between sleeve & hanger? Please explain - Thanks
