When you do SO with a Bungee cord it allows you to do many angles with just a twist of the hips. This of course is done with the anchor at crotch level from a standing position. Over The Leg (OTL) to the left or right is great for stretching the outside of the ligs. When you come back to the SO position it gives a little easier as is noted by the increase in gains you’ll achieve.
Now there are additional advantages to the use of a Bungee in that if you provide yourself with an eye level anchor then you can do SU (straight up) hanging. Now twist the hips and you’ve got a 45 degree SU angle.
One big thing needs to be mentioned here and that is with the angles added into your routine you will find that an increase in hanging weight is not necessary as your gains will continue at the same weight for quite a long period of time and the only time it becomes necessary to add weight is when your gains slow down or stop. When that happens there is another technique that will perpetuate your gains without increasing weight and that is to jump up your weight about 10% to 20% for about 1 minute then drop back to your basis weight and proceed with angle hanging at that basis weight.
There is another trick when applied that will keep the gains going without increasing weight and that is start applying fulcrums to all angles. This is easily accomplished by placing your thumb between your hanger and your pelvis then twisting the hips to get a 90 degree angle of your shaft. Doing this would require a slight reduction in hanging weight because the stress is so pinpointed at the fulcrum point. What I would do is move my thumb back and forth to stress the ligs over a longer area. Apply a fulcrum to all angles and it takes some significant amount of time. I never did any of the angles above for more then a few minutes each. I did try to spend a significant portion of time in the SO position so I could make sure my gains would be in that direction primarily.
Now you may be asking yourself “Why would I want to do all these angles?” The answer to that is if the ligs are stretched in an angle to the basic SO position what you are going to find is that your gains will increase with an added benefit to all this is the stretching of the tunica, which over time will increase your girth.
Now I was planning on girth work after I reached my length goal but I kept getting complaints from my wife that her jaw hurt during BJ’s. When I measured my girth I found it had increased well over an 1 1/2” so girth work wasn’t necessary.
