Pumping after hanging to promote recovery?

Has anyone tried a set of pumping after their hanging sets to decrease turtling, keeping the bloodflow in the penis, promoting recovery in a larger state?

I posted a “review my routine” thread, now in the the general forum, where most of the responders said they wouldn’t do pumping sets after hanging as they thought they would conflict.

I’m wondering if a light set could keep the penis in an extended state after hanging rather than turtling.

It often happens that excessive turtling is caused by going overboard with your routine, so adding pumping on top of a over done hanging routine is only going to add to the abuse. It is best that you master hanging before taking on something new. I would suggest starting with a less aggressive hanging routine in either weight or time, or maybe both.


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Thanks so much for the PM and the reply, I appreciate your time.

My issue isn’t that I’m turtling, I should have been more clear about that. I just was under the impression that blood flow to the penis post-hanging was a good thing and would help the recovery/growth process which is why I asked the question.

My honest series of events was I heard about a host of people having some great gains from pumping, I bought a great pump.. And then it’s been widely discussed here to try and get my length gains first, with hanging.. Before pumping.

So I have my Bib that just came in the mail today, I think that once I get over the true 8 inch mark I’ll think about incorporating some pumping and clamping into my workout for some girth.

Time permitting I always pump with my bathmate at low pressure for about 10 minutes after hanging. It seems to be working well for restoring blood flow in place of jelqing.
