Hey guys,

Just curious - I find that many PE’ers hang with very few rest days. Personally I find that I can hang every day without my peinis feeling too beat up……..yet I can’t say the same for jelqing and squeezing. I need to take 1-2 days a week were I have a complete break or just do light jelqing.

Does anyone feel that rest days from hanging are necessary to make gains when hanging?

Hanging every day works for some but not for others. I take one to two days off per week. Sometimes I get a couple of sets in over the weekend. IMO you have to have some healing time.

Some people say gains from hanging occur during rest periods, the microtear-fill-the-gaps theory, but I think as long as you can hang over half your max, you should.
For two reasons,

1, if you rest then the healing process might take away some of the work you did by repairing the limiting factors you may have broken in the last session, so some of the time you spend would be catching up to where you were before, and

2, the more hanging you do the more your penis is kept in a hyper-extended state, which must be good, even if you follow the microtear theory this would make sense because the gaps would be filled in while the penis is extended.

I think that traction wraps, ADS or light hanging (1-2 pounds) would be better IF it is true that healing doesnt take place while work is being done, because the penis would be kept extended with little tension to stop the healing process. I dont think that is true though.

But then again it would vary from person to person, hard gainers like me I think are best off hanging or stretching everyday because the limiting factors need more work to break but fast gainers or newbies would benefit strongly from taking regular rest days.

Am I making sense?
