Stretching Ligs,gains?Or Optical illusion?

Was reading threw some post today and kind of confused with stretching the ligs verses the tunica ,or the strong cord running down the center of my unit.Or when you hang is it stretching the entire unit?

I think all of it gets stretched, but the “tough” tissues take longer.

Well the reason I’m asking is the post I read say the ligs stretch but doesn’t give you length just makes you hang lower giving you the optical illusion that it’s longer.So after stretching the ligs does the tunica and the septum stretch?Just trying to fit it all together.

I was reading the same stuff and I admit it can be confusing. It makes sense though that what stretches easier will extend until you hit the tougher tissues. The important thing is to be as consistent with your sessions as possible, use heat on the unit ( I use a hot washcloth to warm-up, I’ve read about some guys using an IR lamp during the session to keep it warm and pliable) and when nothing is giving gains - take a break for a while.

Thanks for chiming in,the anatomy of the penis very complex and the ways that work and so many opinions out there,and what works for some and might be a little different for others.I know PE is possible because I’m living proof I have gained almost 2 inches in almost the last 3 years but it gets frustrating when u read something that could be opposite of what u thought.

A two inch gain is great progress, congratulations. I too am proof that PE works.

When you’re hanging, you only stretch ligament.
I came to a conclusion that you can’t stretch tunica at all no matter what you do.

Most people would disagree with that. If you hang BTC, you put lots of stress on your ligaments. If you hang OTS, you put very little stress on your ligaments, and focus it instead on your tunica and septum. You can also use a fulcrum while hanging to focus your efforts on a particular area.

You could say that the ligaments are easier to stretch than your tunica and septum. That’s one reason why newbies get quick gains. But if you use heat and are patient, you can stretch the tunica and septum too.

I think you can get gains of about an inch or so by stretching ligaments. Yet there are lots of people that have gained 2” or more; you just can’t get those kind of gains by stretching ligaments alone.

Yes, you can somehow isolate tunica and ligaments with different hanging styles such as OTS or BTC. But when you add more weights to your hanging, you end up with the same stress levels on tunica in BTC as if you would with OTS with lighter weights. At the same time, in BTC you also stretch your ligaments. So this way you can kill two birds with one bullet by doing BTC only and forget about all other nonsense.
I understand where you are coming from with tunica can grow idea. But from my observation, tunica can only toughen(sort of scar tissue). There are genetic reasons for that. After many years on PE forums, I have yet to come across somebody who has provided a properly documented proofs of his tunica gains, let alone proper measurements gains from PE. It doesn’t mean that people who do PE don’t grow. It simply suggests that it might be impossible to grow tunica at all. I have a scar the size of a wedding ring in the middle of my penis’s tunica which I got from doing PE(hanging) for years. It should have grown but not for me. So according to my theory and experience, you can’t grow tunica.
That being said, you still can stretch your ligaments and a corpus cavernosum which can give you a good 2.5” of BPFSL. I think people confuse the reasons behind growth because the are too excited to see that they can grow at all, which leads to a slightly distorted reality.
But then, everybody has their own opinion on things. I just don’t buy into it anymore as I have many years of my own experience under the belt.


Hanging heavy weights could cause injury if one is not conditioned to such weights. Before you decide to go heavy, you need to go through a conditioning process of slowly building up weights to the point when you feel comfortable. So, please take it slowly and pay attention to your wrapping technique.
