Currently at 16.5#. 3 to 5 twenty minute sets per day. 1 off day per week. Was a little heavier (22#) 3 months ago but took some time off due to some surgery/recovery.

Can you explain what the chemical routine is? And also maybe a link to the ADS?


2018: BPEL = 7.25ish. MSEG= 5.

2023: BPEL = 8.25. MSEG = 5.5.

Goal: BPEL = 8.75. MSEG = 6.1.

15 lbs for at least two 20 min sets with ten minute separation; position is hanging straight down while standing, and usually gentle swinging there with, sometimes leaning forward on the desk. Sometimes get in a third set later in day.

Just started 5 lbs for other positions such as seated hanging, and over the shoulder; no real decision yet about proper weight or time, just exploring these after the normal hang set. Will probably stick to lower weights for these positions for now.

Also keeping on very small weighted steel plates on left & right sides of shaft over a light wrap, and lightly wrapped there over for most of rest of day. Not sure how many ounces, but overall light enough for all day wear.

2.5kg (plus the weight of my loading pin) 6 sets of 20 mins with 10 minute break between.

Below this weight I didn’t feel much, but now I get a good stretch and fatigue feeling.


19/07/2021: BPEL 7 x 5.5

Goal: 9 x 6.25

I just got to 6lbs/2.7kg after nearly 9 months of hanging. Still seeing solid results with fairly lite weight and longer duration.


BPEL: 5.5" --> 7.9" ; BPFSL: ~5.6" --> 8.5"

14.4lbs - 3x20 minutes

Just started with compression hanging 2 or 3 times per week. 2 x 20 min sets for now at 3.75kg (8lbs).

Yes it’s a largish weight to start with but it is off a base of using extender for 9 months with decent tension so I’m already conditioned. I don’t plan to go up to much in weight. Maybe 6.25kg max or around 14lbs.
