I quoted you because it is in that text that it is made clear that Bigger continues to choose to not participate in this forum. For the record, I’m glad that you made the invitation to him to return (Thank You!) and am saddened that he didn’t accept it.

Having said that, I believe that we should respect his decisions (and every one else’s for that matter).

You are right, you did not “say a damn thing about Bigger being discourteous”, in fact, no one did, and I never said any one did. However, hobby’s comment (my 2nd quote above) suggests that Bigger should be considered discourteous if he doesn’t address “the issues here in this thread”. Because we know that he will not (reference my 1st quote above), I think it is disrespectful of that decision to suggest that when he doesn’t, it is because he didn’t “muster the courtesy”, which is another way of saying he is “discourteous”.

Not sure what you meant to connote with the “Hmmm…”, but if you think that I have ulterior motives, you’re right. That motive is more respect for the members here, present and past.

IMO, taking shots at Bigger is a little like cursing your rich uncle who only left you 10 million dollars instead of the 20 million you wanted. All Bigger left us was the tools and information to grow our dicks bigger…

If others can posit on what they think it is that keeps Bigger from commenting in this thread, so can I. I think it is his personal integrity in standing by his earlier decision to leave this forum. I respect that.

I have received some new information from Bib, which I am still trying to digest. Essentially, he thinks I have not properly represented the shape of the pubic symphysis in the model. I’m not sure that I agree, but I have told Bib that I will cut a new revision of the model that addresses his objections, time permitting. It will probably be a week or 2 before I can get to it.

I’m sure the whole forum will benefit from your efforts, I know that I already have. Please do continue to work with Bigger toward a model that meets with Bigger’s approval. You can always modify from there if it seems appropriate, right?

The suspensory system of the penis acquires clinical importance in reparative surgery, traumatology and through its role in erection. The aim of this study was to identify the different anatomic structures constituting the suspensory ligament by dissection and by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Ten unembalmed male subjects were used for dissection of the region of the base of the penis. Ten volunteer patients underwent MRI of the penis before and after the injection of prostaglandin (PGE1). The suspensory apparatus consisted of separate ligamentous structures: the fundiform ligament, which is lateral, superficial and not adherent to the tunica albuginea of the corpora cavernosa; the suspensory ligament properly so-called, further back, stretching between the pubis and the tunica albuginea of the corpora cavernosa and consisting of two lateral, circumferential, and one median bundles, which circumscribed the dorsal vein of the penis. These structures were identifiable in MRI and their supporting role was evidenced during tests of erection. The suspensory ligament seemed to maintain the base of the penis in front of the pubis and to behave as a major point of support for the mobile portion of the penis during erection.
