VacHanging and taping

I’ve been vac hanging for about four weeks now. I’m up to 6lbs for two hours per day done in two one hour sets. I had been going every day but have noticed that I seem to be growing better with days off so now I’m doing 5/2 going forward.

I’ve been taping my entire glans with micropore tape and it’s a PITA to remove - I do it in the shower after each set and it’s never very fun. Maybe that’s the price of safety, but I’m interested to hear if people think that’s really necessary when hanging at 6lbs or if it’s typically for more?

I plan to stay at 6lbs for a while as I’m seeing good progress. If I were to do the typical extender tape (microfoam over frenulum and that area with a small piece of gauze over rest of tip) - is that safe or am I playing with fire?

Prevent blisters wIth vac-hanging

I bought this -> "Penis-Enlarger Glans Protector Cap 2 Pack Pumping Forte Extender Enlargement" from eBay for $12.99. Using that with baby powder seems to be the thing I’m looking for.

Look up micro foam tape. So much easier to work with. There is a huge difference between microfoam tape and micropore tape. As far as it being necessary at 6lbs? Yes im my opinion it is. Best case scenario your skin will slowly get chewed up. Worst case you’ll end up with blisters. Blisters suck.

Those protective caps are OK but if they aren’t perfect you’ll get an air gap between the cap and the glans and end up with blisters.

Are you using the micropore tape made by 3M?

I’ve found that the micropore tape that 3M make peels off with no issues, I’ve also had the stuff that’ll take your skin off and it’s a nightmare compared to the 3M micropore tape…

Yes - using 3M micropore tape. It leaves a residue on me. Last few days I’ve been putting it on my arm then remove the arm again then remove then glans - that made it a little better.

I’ve also tried microfoam tape but while that doesn’t leave residue it sticks pretty hard and isn’t easy to take off.

You must have some tough skin. I tried that it didn’t work too well.

I had to start taping at about 4lbs. I use clear gorilla tape below the meatus which is my primary trouble area. then a narrow strip over the meatus. Then the 3M micropore tape over my glans.

Comes off fine with a bit of water.


BPEL: 5.5" --> 7.9" ; BPFSL: ~5.6" --> 8.5"

While I’ve never used a vac hanger, although I intend to in the near future, I know someone who does so this reply is basically his words and experience. He started taping at 2 kg and hangs about 7 kg now. There is a taping tutorial on Totalman’s site and he follows that but does a double layer because of the heavy weights. He used to wear a cap too but they always slipped so he stopped using them. Never had any blister.

Yes, it has become thick at the tip. Still sensitivity hasn’t changed.

Yes and No in my experience. The Foam sticks more, but doesn’t leave residue as much. The Pore sticks less but can leave residue.

Putting the micropore on my arm or leg a couple times before glans seems to help me a lot.

I tape the entire glans with micropore now - there’s a great video on PH that a guy walks through the way - it’s basically one strip top to bottom glans, then two strips in an X across that and a final one all the way around the circumference.

I also add a strip of microfoam over my frenulum area. I reuse that piece several times.

Yes that’s Totalman’s video that I was referring to. I’ve seen that though I doubt it would be helpful at very high weights (10+ kg).
