wanna make a hanger

hey hangers, im new to hanging, need to make me a device, need some help.

All i could get at a DIY store was:
few cable clamps, some strapping (velcro sticky stuff), some pipe insulation and a cable tie, lol.

Please give me some ideas, i could use other stuff around the home if needed.

Now, can you make a Captn’s Wench with what you have? What type of velcro did you buy? Roughly 14 or 15 inches of two inch wide velcro, some nylon straps and some Gripper material or reasonable surrogate will get you a Captn’s Wench in about 10 minutes. How about getting 2 segments of 1" diameter PVC pipe. The segments are 3" long. Then get 3 feet of small cord and cut that in half. Go to this link and follow the instructions:

Use the PVC pipe instead of the markers.

You can also try to use the cable clamp as a stopper instead of a second wrap to keep the hanger from sliding down to the head.
