Wench hangin time

Hello! First I’d say that I already looked up in the search for the thing I was wondering about and couldn’t find anything.. So I hope someone can help me out here.

My current routine is as follows:

Mornings: 1-2x 30 mins of hanging.
Evenings: 3-4x 30 mins of hanging.
10 mins of jelq.

My goal is length. I am using the wench hanging device in SO position with a pulley under my desk. I have posted some pictures here: ReStarting after 2 years

The problem I am having is that my dick’s body (not the stressed head part) gets cold towards the end of each set. After I take the hanger off, it turtles a little. Somebody advised
Me to use a hot rice sock during my sets.or an IR lamb.. I’d appreciate it if you can share with me if you use a heater during the hanging sessions and which kind best works for you?

I was also wondering if I should be increasing the set duration or the number of sets? What is the optimal time to build up to using the wench hanging device?

Thank you!

P.S.

I am posting this thread here because I cannot post in the hanger’s or the main forum. I am not a new user and I have already posted there in the past. Can a moderator please tell me why can’t I post there?

And if he can move the thread in the hangers forum please!

I’m no hanger, and know so very little about it, but I’m sure how much weight you are you using could help other members determine a solution for you, just seems to be a large missing piece to the puzzle.

If you mean you’re doing 30 minute sets, that’s too long. Aim for 20 maximum. Using a Bib hanger, I usually kept my sets in the 15-18 minute range.

I used heat. My preference when hanging was to warm up with a soak in an extremely hot bath to thoroughly warm everything up, then immediately after drying off switch to either an electric heating pad, rice sock or microwavable heating pad as I began my first set. I tried to maintain the warmth through the whole hanging session, breaks included, only cooling down during the last set.

I currently hang with 2kgs since I restarted in less than a month.

Hobby,

I am not sure if 30 minutes is too long. I got an advice from another member that I should build up my set time up to 60 minutes. I think this is too long. What do the others think?

I don’t think it’s a good idea to go for more than 30 minutes in a single set. At least take the weight off and check that things seem normal before continuing.

So if I should be increasing something that would be the number of sets right. I have also heard that the hanging time is more important than the weight itself. So for now I think I am just going to build up the hanging time to 5 hours a day overall.

I`m hanging with the Bib starter and I would never ever hang over 20 minutes. Sometimes I hang only 15 minutes if everything was not set up properly or if I`m feeling strong fatigue.

30 minutes would be MAXIMUM in my opinion. You could experience tissue death you know.

I`m also getting cold towards the base, but my theory has been that it is because of the colder air in the room relative to my dick.

If I were you I would have increased sets.

Your main worry should be to achieve fatigue at your current maximum comfortable weight. When you have reached fatigue, hopefully in one of the first sets, you will have to lower the weights on subsequent sets.

There are some extreme guys that swear to only one set per day at extreme weights and they seem to gain. Personally, I would never be comfortable doing that.

I much rather prefer controlled damage over time.

Have you gained anything in SO so far?

If you want to do 20+ minutes hanging sets I think the sole option is to use a vac-hanger. With any other kind of hanger you have to stay in the 15-20 minutes range, because blood circulation is restricted.

Renholder, I haven’t really measured yet since I’ve been hanging for not even 1 month (after my 2 years break) but even if I do I really doubt that I’d see gains.it’s too soon I gues.

Thanks for the replies, I think I got the purpose. I’m just going to increase the set number instead of the hanging time.

I think that would be wise, if your schedule allows for it.

Naturally, you should raise weights gradually as necessary to achieve fatigue, but please don`t rush it with the weights. Take your time.

I would also recommend you to consistenly measure your BPFSL(bone pressed flaccid stretched length) as this is a really interesting measurement.

Most likely BPFSL will be longer than your BPEL and if this is increasing it might be indicating that you are gaining with your current routine even though it may not necessarily translate into real BPEL gains just yet.

Renholder, it is interesting what you are saying about the BPFSL.. I haven’t measured before but I think my dick is if not smaller than the same size as I restarted 1 month ago.. I know it’s too soon to see any real results but still I think that maybe I am overdoing it. I started with 3 sets of 15 minutes in the evening. Now I am doing 2x30min morning 4x30mins evening. I have also noticed that my dick gets cold and maybe a little bit thinner at the end of each session. What do you think? Is that a bad indicator or just the fatigue?

Thinner? How so?

Usually, me penis is kind of deflated after a longer hanging session because fluid seems to leave the penis after a few sets of hanging. Not so much that it scares me though. This is however only temporary.

How long do you plan to be hanging? 1 year? 2 year?

My point is that in this initial phase, say 1-2 months, you definitely do not want to rush things. Think of it as building the proper foundation for the rest of your hanging journey.

Start with very low weights, and gradually work up to your maximum amount of sets per day.

The general consensus is that you need over 10 hours per week. You are currently doing 21 hours per week which should be PLENTIFUL for gaining.

I don`t know your dick or your PE history, but if you just started hanging, this amount will probably be way too much unless you`re hanging at superlight weights.

At least do low weights for now.

Also, reduce your sets to 20 minutes UNLESS you are hanging with perfect circulation and no circulation problems afterwards, which seems to NOT be the case with you.

It is normal with reduced bloodflow and a colder glands in the first period when starting out because your soft tissues are conditioning. They are learning to adapt to the stress of the hanger, which is the reason you should take things slowly at low weights.

Most guys will experience that bloodflow issues will disappear after the initial conditioning phase. With you, it might be a combo of both being unconditioned and also that you are hanging longer than you should.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out!

PS: 21 hours per week would probably be good, but IMO this is an amount you should arrive at over time. You would not want to bring out the big guns right away and become too conditioned. My point being that you could probably gain well with less work to start with and then add more time when things slow down.

Hei I am sorry I didn’t mention my PE history. This is actually a ReStart after a 2 years of break. I had my ligs and tunica gains 2 years ago. Due to the fact that I am already somehow conditioned I think that this time I should bring out the “big guns” and hang as much as possible since my schedule allows it.

I am currently hanging with 2 kgs which I think is relatively light (or at least compared to the weights I used to hang with 2 years ago). I know that in this phase it’s important to condition my member. Thats why I’ve been increasing only the time. After I have reached the maximum amount of hanging time I will start increasing the weights as well. What do you think about this strategy?

And another thing just to clarify - I do not experience cold head. By saying my dick gets cold I meat that the body (the stretched part) gets cold. Do you think this is normal? Some of the guys have already suggested me to use a warming device during the sessions for better tissue stretch.

Cheers!

I just wanted to elaborate this theory: My bpfsl consistently increased for a few months without any concrete erect gains. I’m into my fifth week of decon and my erect gains have started to show. I’ve also been getting a lot of intense, long sex sessions as well, which I believe is helping my gains come out.

Intense long lasting erections, combined with an undamaged penis (from workouts), have showed me some interesting results. I’m not saying I can stay away from pe, cause I want much more penis gains. However, without me knowing it my penis felt hard as hell, but wasn’t giving me the blood flow needed to expose my new gains.

I’m thinking when workouts are going well, and my bpfsl has increased to a certain extent, it might be time for a break to allow my gains to show themselves. Kind of like I’m letting it grow into itself.

My penis is thicker, has maintained vascularity, and is an eighth or so of an inch larger than before my break. I’m not saying to take breaks all the time, but I now think I know when the right time to take a break is. But bpfsl is definitely a very important indicator.

I’ve also had to make adjustments along the way to make the bpfsl actually get longer. If it isn’t I believe something isn’t going the right way.

I'm consistent in spurts, but gains are undeniable!
