Is it best to hang more weight for a shorter time ?

Is it best to hang less weight for a shorter time ?

How many times a day is the average number for hanging?

Currently I am at 9 lbs. 3 times a day at 14 mins.

My experience: Start with lower weights. Add time until you get to your daily time allowance (max number of 15-20min sets). Then add weight slowly over time. Use constant heat if possible. Injuries will screw up the whole process if you push too fast.

Never gained size from hanging, but did get stronger erections from hanging maybe 3 sets twice a week and hanging straight up made my corpus spongiosum harder during erections I think.

Interesting, I have been wondering what would target the CS. I am going to start hanging early next year.

You must!! Hang for at least 2-3 times a day putting in at least 45 mins a day to see gains and this will take at least a few months to see a gain. I take a day off a week and now gone from 6inches to 7.9

Spot on. Less weight more time is your best friend.

How exactly did you hang, Ricklesp50?
What device, how much weight, for how many sets, how many hours a day and how quickly did you reach your amazing gains?

I started hanging about 7 years ago with weights up to 8lbs starting with 3lbs. After one year I went from 6” to 7.5 by hanging for 20mins one to two sets a day with weekends off. I recently started again in August with 8lbs and built up to 14lbs with a minimum of 3 sets at 15 mins a day. With at least 20 min rest period between sets. Try to get one in the afternoon. I edge for another 20 mins between sets.

Wow, it seems you are an easy gainer. I put more effort into it and hope to gain 1 inch in one year. That would be so amazing.

I started hanging 4 months ago but only seriously for the last 2 months. I hang 8lbs for 3-4 hrs a day in hour long sets. I’ve gained an inch BPEL so far just in these last 2 months. You’ve just gotta find out what works for you. I couldn’t feel any fatigue at all when I did 30 minute sets but now that I do hour long sets I feel incredible stretch and fatigue after each set. I also hang 7 days a week

Is anyone doing any supplemental PE with the hanging, like a dedicated set of jelqs or something(not light jelqing in between sets), or pumping? Great info in this thread by the way!
