Where to purchase a Bib Hanger

Just an fyi, Bib will probably tell you to make sure you get it straightened out with MOS.

I’m not a member of the MOS site. I just happen to order from the link that Thunder had posted here. I didn’t know there was a difference between the new one and the old one.

I know, but you ordered from bibhangers.com which is an MOS site. Bib now gets his orders passed to him from MOS. He gets money from them too. So bib can’t make you a hanger until he gets your money. So you need to make sure the right people are notified at MOS so that bib gets your money and the consent form. Then bib can send you a hanger.

EDIT: If you want to wait, thats fine, but there are no guarantees. MOS will likely send bib an updated list of bib purchasers soon. Hopefully you will be on it.

Here’s an update. After waiting almost 6 weeks, Bigger sent me an email today that he finally received my money and is shipping my hanger. I must say that all this delay has had nothing to do with Bib and everything to do with MOS.

I recommend to anyone who wants to purchase a Bib Hanger to buy direct from Bigger and stay away from the MOS site. I made the mistake of choosing the wrong link. And NO, I’m not a member at MOS. I just clicked the link from this thread.

There’s a lot more to this than I want to get into and I can assure you that Bib regrets ever letting MOS get in the middle.

All I can say is Bigger is a man of his word and doesn’t deserve what he has been made to go through from dealing with MOS. I just hope Bib doesn’t end up loosing money after all the dust settles. He just doesn’t deserve it.

It has been brought to my attention that the delay on the shipping of the Bib Hangers bought through the MOS site we’re due to the fact that PayPal had an issue and it locked all the orders that we’re placed. Bib has informed me that any future orders placed through the MOS site will be direct to Bib and not through MOS. I just felt this needed to be straighten out as not to miss lead anyone. If you have any questions I would suggest you contact Bib.

It’s seems you weren’t alone I feel sorry for Bigger “bib” because he always gave great service and I hate to see his name go down drain due to MOS problems.

Bib is one of the good guys. I wish I had found this site a long time ago. it would have saved me a lot of money to say the least. I don’t usually make posts to any forum, why I really don’t know except that I don’t usually have anything to say. Thunder’s place is a great place to learn good stuff about PEing. Really better than any paid site. You have all these guys that have been there and done that or anything that is on the Internet. It’s also free. My regards to all, lastresort!!!!!!!!!

Anyone interested in buying a slightly-used bib-starter? I haven’t used it in over a year, and it’s just sitting in a drawer in my apartment. I can mail it to you in a moment’s notice.

Couldn’t agree more, second that emotion in every regard- an absolute PE newbie is thrilled to stumble onto such a resource.

Question- all three links take me to sites where I must pay by something called “YowCow”- is there anyway to simply place a CC order w/o signing up for a new paypal type service?

If the sites don’t offer the option then I assume the answer is no.

Another option is to mail a check directly to Bib’s p.o. box.

His policy is to send the merchandise as soon as the check clears, so you’re probably looking at 10-14 days to get a hanger.

It is also very fast to send him a USPS money order if you can, no waiting because he can cash it on the spot while at the US Post Office.

I have never heard of Bib being anything other that a stand up guy when it comes to his hangers. Back pre-MOS I did the USPS money order thing and got my hanger in under one week.

Can anyone help me locate a site in Canada or a Canadian address where I might purchase equipment such as hangers.

I’m sure Bigger will ship a hanger to Canada. Probably has many times. I’ve shipped a few hangers there as well with no problems. On the customs declaration form I just mark that its a gift. No extra fees that I’m aware of.
