The 101 hanging thread tells you should hang 45 minute’s a day for the first two months. I want to hang for more than 45 minute’s after two weeks of hanging, although still with low weight.

Hanging Fatigue tells that you can condition your dick too fast if you progress to soon in the amount of weight you hang.

Would you also condition your dick too soon if you progress to fast with the amount of hanging time? (Even when you don’t have any discomfort, pain, or injury, but only fatique?)

It’s better to increase time, if possible, before increasing weight. Work it up gradually. Don’t jump from 3 sets a day to 10.

To some extent the more time you hang, the less weight you need to use. Less weight is good both from a strengthening perspective and because there are fewer issues/problems (getting a good grip, fluid buildup, discoloration, etc.).

IMO, the main factor in avoiding excessive strengthening is hanging every day. Fatigue takes days to accumulate. Resting for a couple days sets you back to square one, plus the time off seems to promote strengthening. Try not to miss days.

Start at low weight and low times. Build up as slowly as you can while still feeling that sore lig feeling. That’s it.

You say that time off promote’s strengthening. For now I assume that you mean conditioning with that. That’s the reason why you shouldn’t miss days according to you theorie.

Are you saying that you shouldn’t miss hanging days, beside’s the resting days? Or do you mean that the best thing is too hang 7 days a week?

Why should one build up slowly in time? I think the consensus about effective hanging is time spend hanging. If you can confortably hang 2 lbs for longer time’s even as a beginning hanger, why shouldnt you do that? As long as it is comfortable and won’t notice the weight?

Yes, as in the tissues becoming tougher and stronger.

I think it’s best to hang 7 days a week. Don’t allow the tissues to fully recover. An occasional day off probably doesn’t hurt, but don’t make them a habit. Instead of taking rest days, do fewer sets and/or reduce the weight.

The reason for increasing the time slowly (same goes for weight) is to avoid injuring the more delicate parts (blood vessels and nerves) that aren’t used to the stress. They need to be conditioned gradually. If you rush into hanging hours per day don’t be surprised if you get injured. In my experience such injuries don’t provide warning signs in advance.

I’ve read that ejaculating is bad when working out. If your doing this 7 days a week when do you have time to have some fun. :swimmer:

It has nothing to do with hanging. I had sex on a regular basis and it didn’t effect my hanging program. Of course I didn’t try to have sex right after hanging either.

After sex or masturbating my dick will turtle up. The turtling is bad. Just wear an ADS afterwards to keep it extended.
