Does bathmate really help to straighten out curve?

Hi!

Since I can’t post in pumping I guess I will post here instead. I bought a bathmate last week and have tried it a little. It feels great afterwards!

Now to the question, it says in the brochure that it will straighten out curve. But from what I’ve seen I mostly get red spots on the “outside” of the curve, like it actually increases it? My curve is not big at all, it’s more like a twist really.

Should I be worried that it will get more twisted?

Regards!

Air vacuum pumps can be helpful to make curve less sever, I think there is even some peer riviewed literature on this. A water pump should do the same, but I wouldn’t suggest the bathmate though, because it has no gauge (at least I think) so you can go too high with the pressure and this could make the curve more severe, adversely.

Hmm ok, maybe I should get a air pump then. Nope it doesn’t have a gauge.

Thanks!

No problem. I advice reading some basic thread on pumping around here, it could save a long time of no results.

As long as you’re careful it will work just fine. I’ve been using it for quite a while to PE, although I really don’t have much of a curve it might be ever so slightly uneven to the left at the top and I have the feeling that the unbalance has turned a little more balance during this time, certainly not worse.

Over time this curve will be corrected by using the bathmate.

- bathmate HQ here to help

Ok thanks for the replies!

I will continue using it and also read more about pumping overall in here =)

Do you have anything supporting this claim? Clinic studies for example?

I have an upwards curvature, that makes my unit touch the tube of my x 40.
I saw that it is supposed to straighten it, I will see if this claim is true, but I personally believe that it should be specified if the curvature was originated by a trauma (Peyronie Disease) or it was present since birth.
Because if it is derived from a trauma, we will have to face the scar tissue that actually prevents the penis to be straight, not allowing the affected part to fully expand, so I personally believe that in that case, to lessen the curvature is not actually possible.

But we will see :)

Not all scar tissue generated by a trauma is Peyronie’ disease.

Well, I agree that is more correct to say, “if there is a calcified plaque”, (like in my case) because usually this disease is cured by cutting or removing the plaque, and substitute the tissue in the area (usually with a part of a vein)

An alternative is the Nesbit Procedure. But produces length reduction.

And since there is calcified tissue, it will not be expanded, and I feel that this should be specified.

I guess it actually worsens a curve.

It was my second day with Bath mate and when I pump 3/4 times, I see my penis bends at the top (precisely the head of the penis bends almost a 90 degrees downwards)

I have no curve issues but don’t understand what is happening?

Any one has an idea?

That is an odd, odd result. Do you have the top of the opening right down on the top side of your penis? There is no reason a Bathmate should increase, or create a curve.

I try to insert my penis in the BM in such a way that it is centred and not in contact with the circumference of the tube to avoid any resistance but I feel that my penis gets in contact with the upper end.

I also see a water film or wall building between the penis head and rest of the water resting ahead of it.

I just don’t get it. Yesterday I didn’t have these issues as I did the pumping in a pure flaccid state but today I tried it with a 60-70% erection.

Hmm, I can’t possibly diagnose the problem over the internet. There is a bit of a learning curve with the Bathmate. I’d try to put it on, and pump up every two or three minutes, Then release vacuum, and start over. You will get better at using it, the more you try to use it.
