Hello

interesting topic I am undecided what to buy electric or manual pump. Friends who have experience on this subject if you have any suggestions. Thanks and regards.

Never used an electric, not clear to me what the allure is. What I’ve read is the inexpensive ones are limited on options (vacuum levels, staging, etc) and the cost of a programmable one is huge.

There are some members who swear by them, so must be something positive about them.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

Electric For Me

I’m 60 have some arthritis & manual dexterity issues. I like the electric rechargeable got off Adam & Eve at beginning of my ED. Just started to use a little this week. Three speed with a release button. Biggest down fall is no gauge so will try figure that out. Right now just going on look & feel as to use. Doing a set of four pump hold release , pump hold release. It takes about 10-20 minutes after manual workout.

Pumped Wednesday after work, laid some pipe with the wife after dinner mama liked. Plus I can comb my hair while vac motor off .& holding pressure that’s a time saver.

I have a LeLuv automatic smart pump and really like that I can set it at any desired kPa and it continuously adjusts so the pressure stays there for how ever long I set the time for. I’ve been doing 17 kPa(5hg) for 2 minutes intervals for 30 minutes or so. You can program it to hold from 0-10 minutes and 20 minutes session.

Ok so electric seem better for gain ,any way to make your own instead of buying one fully made ?

If the electric pump is programable and maintains the vacuum level at specified levels, it is much better than a hand pump with a vacuum gauge. However, there will be a higher cost for the programable pump.

Start 11/09 BPEL: 5.5", EG: 4.4"

Current. BPEL: 6:4", EG: 5.5"

Electric is not better for gain. The choice is purely ease of use. Some guys have adapted an aquarium pump for use. Just search for aquarium pump.

It’s not that expensive.
You can get a Leluv programmable pump that is integrated into the cylinder and you’re all set for around $60-$70 from first glance on eBay.
They also make an adapter for the pump head that lets you plug it into a vacuum hose and use any cylinder that you already own.

I have this setup and it works, I just don’t pump often… I have been meaning to start up again on a regular basis…

The Smart LCD iPump I purchased from kodidistributing was $66.99 plus shipping. The also have the adaptor($9.99) that can be used with any cylinder, just need to buy the smart pump head unit ($50).

That’s the way to go imo :)

I just wish the user interface was better and it was more configurable… but it’s totally workable and pretty affordable all things considered.

I checked kodidistributed but there are multiple head ,beside the one with the screen are all the other one worth it ?

Material For Homemade Pump

Ok so I made some research about penis pump on this forum and I found a thread who show how to make a vacuum with a tetra whisper 40 aquarium pump for around 15$ ,but I made further research and figure out some thing are missing like the cylinder ,can anybody help me pls ?

I like electric because it handles small leaks with ease. I used to shave off some hair to get a better seal. With hair, I always have a tiny leak. (Note: I recently found that the fitting on my Leluv cylinder was leaking and fixed it with teflon tape which helped a lot.) With the automatic pump (Leluv/kodi Smart LCD), I can focus on exercising (kegels & reverse) or do something else like computer work. I also pump my balls which has a lesser seal and needs even more maintenance pumping (I would not ball pump if I had to do it manually).

If you seal well or staring at the gauge and hand pumping fits into your routine, hand pumps are good too. My Leluv pump’s charge port broke after a few months. I fixed it but I am handy. So you may need to factor in cost and reliability.

I have been considering that fish tank pump. Have you found a post that details a full solution?

You can get cylinders all over the place. I use Leluv/kodidistributing cylinders with the quick connect fitting (they have their own site and sell on ebay too). The cylinders are quallity and the fitting is great. When I bought a larger size, I got the smart LCD pump too because it wasn’t that much more.

Start: 6.3" BPEL x 5" MEG. Now: 7.25" BPEL x 5.375 MEG. Goal: 7.5x5.5
