Fluid retention in Bathmate - Counterproductive?

Fluid retention in Bathmate - Counterproductive?

Hi!

I’ve been doing BM on and off for the past couple of months but now decided to follow a strict routine. I do just 5 minutes or less in the morning when I shower and then I do between 15-20 min at the evening.

What I’ve noticed is that whenever I go over 10 min in the BM with full pressure fluid retention starts building up. This usually takes ALOT of time to heal, the whole night atleast if not more (like 14-20 hours) and the more I think about it, the more it feels like it should be counterproductive! Instead of focusing on healing the dick into a larger state, it focuses on removing the fluid from the foreskin (It mostly collects right under the glans)

Should it not be better to stop the BM procedure as soon as you start seeing any fluid retention? Anyone else experienced similar problems?

/G

No evidence for me put it appears so.

It might be a bit of a hassle but doing several sets of bathmate is what gives you more net time and less edema.
Like 4 times 6 minutes.

Cold water reduces it too.
ALso some sort of constriction at the abse keeps fluid buildup down as the fluid seem to come from outside the penis..(cockring, silicone sleeve)

Silicon Sleeve Pumping

Stretching reduce the edema. Genereally edema is hint that you are using too much pressure.

Ok thanks, gonna try doing 2 x 7 min sets from now on with colder water! That was a very interseting thread, I ordered a silicone sleeve immediately!

Yea I’ve started to realize that too know, but in the bathmate manual they say that you should go to "full pressure" i.e push it as far against your body as you can. I’m gonna stop the pump whenever I start seeing any edema from now on.
I usually can’t stretch after a BM workout since it hurts to much (the edema is right where I grip the penis and stretch from) :/

But yeah, gonna go down in pressure/do shorter sets from now on. Thanks

I don’t pump to full pressure immediately but give the tissue a couple or more minutes to relax between pumps while subjecting to constant heat in the jacuzzi.
