Good pump

If you want length, go for the 1.5”. If you are more after girth, go for the 1.75. The 2” would be far too big. In actual fact, the Thickwall 1.75” is just a tad larger than it’s stated size and would be at the maximum for you. However, it is the one I would go for if I were you (and wanting girth). The Thickwall cushion is absolutely excellent, but is not strictly necessary; I don’t think you will have much problem with fat-pad getting sucked in. Shave the hairs where the cylinder will sit the day before you start pumping though, just to get a better seal if you are not going to get the cushion.

Please could you elaborate as to why the 1.5 cylinder will aid with length whilst the other (1.75) will aid with girth.

Ideally I would like both. Would the 1.75 not also aid with length?

Having said that the thickwall does seem the better option that I am likely to go with and probably with a comfort cushion even though you advocate this is not abaolutely necessary.

You will ‘pack’ the 1.5” cylinder after a while, so the vacuum will be focussed on pulling your penis up the tube. With the larger tube the vacuum will have more effect on your girth as it will not be packing the tube. The 1.75 will aid in length as well though.

So if I go for the starterkit from thickwall (1.75)

And add to this a flexible silicone sleeve

This will be a good starting setup

Also which kind of cylinder will I get with the starter kit conical or straight form. I read somewhere
conical form is best for thickening and straight form is best for length

However conical with the rolled base looks more comfortable. What do you think as on the thickwall site it doesnt state which type of cylinder it is.

I think you should read my 3rd post in this thread again - go for that setup instead of the starter kit and you will get a high quality brass pump and excellent flexible silicone hose as well. Don’t forget to order the connector though! Choose whichever cylinder you like - I just like straight cylinders. The normal starter kit comes with a straight cylinder as in the picture on the page you linked. I like the silicone sleeve and highly recommend getting one, but you may find you only use it part of the time, as a lot more lube and cleaning up etc. is required!

Just a couple of questions:

The standard 1.75 thickwall cylinder does that have a quick release air hole on the tube as I cant find this information on the site.

Once I have tube connector hose and pump I should be able to put them together straight away and have an airtight pump? There wont be any problems with air leaks?

Also how much tubing do you recommend to get 1 or 2 meters.

The tube comes with the female connector, so you need:

1 tube, which has the female connector on it as standard
1 pump
1 Male connector which you need to order at the same time as the tube
1 length of silicone hose 5mm internal diameter. I’ve just measured my hose and it is 93.5 cm so 1 metre will do it
1 silicone cushion (not necessary but I like it)

It will be as airtight as any other pump setup. With the pump attached there is always a bit of vacuum loss; you may find you have to add a squeeze of the pump every 7-10 seconds to maintain the vacuum. If you disconnect the pump, the only vacuum loss is from around the base of the cylinder (the female valve shuts off completely). You can minimise the loss by shaving where the cylinder seats, and smearing some lube around the area it seats.
If you get the silicone cushion, no air escapes once you disconnect the pump, and you can maintain constant vacuum for ages.
